I never cared for Brooke's attitude towards Lucas in the other scene lol :P

Part of what has always made me love that scene IS her attitude. I really liked the fact that she called him out a bit, but also in her own way acknowledged that he wasn't one of the bad guys, he didn't "lie to get in her bed".

I actually don't even remember much of that BL scene. The only thing that comes to mind is Brooke's quote (because it's one of my favorites)... :/

brooke was kind of a brat in the other scene. I get that she was mad about... I don't even remember. Felix? Mouth? ...but she had no reason to be snippy with lucas

I'm not trying to get in to it with you, but are you serious that she had no reason to get snippy with Lucas?? Part of what she was talking about had to do with how Lucas made her feel when he cheated on her... "The good guys lie to get in your heart." ... "And I'm just the idiot that falls for it EVERY TIME."

I'm sorry, but she wasn't being a "brat". She was hurt that yet another guy had made her feel like shit, and then Lucas, the guy who had really hurt her no more than a few months prior, showed up and she vented at him. *shrug* Sorry, I just don't see how she "had no reason" to be snippy with the guy that cheated on her.

^ sure, Lucas hurt her. but that was a while ago. he approached her in this scene as a friend, and was doing so to be nice. her problems that very night really had nothing to do with him. ofcourse he deserved attitude from her after the cheating happened. but not in that moment. that's just how I see it, and I stand by that

Fair enough! I just always thought that it wasn't supposed to be that long after the cheating you know? It's so frustrating the way the timeline is on OTH! We know that S1 & S2 were both junior year, so it's hard to know how long in between them breaking up & the formal was.

i mean i totally get that brooke was mad that night. i just dont think she had any legit reason to take it out on LUCAS, the way she did. and i even understand her saying the things that she said..its just the way she said them that bothered me. the attitude was taken out on the wrong person, IMO. when all the while, he was only trying to be a friend and be there for her to be nice. but you're right, the timeline is always debatable. and honestly, on top of that I dont even remember that time of the show in great detail, so maybe her still feeling bitter towards lucas was justified. i just think she could have been a little nicer to him lol
