For those that want to dress as Katniss for Halloween, cosplay ou for a costume party...
Lets start with the book:
Katniss wears a a light green chemisier with her mockingjay pin, tawny pants, brown ceinture and a thin hooded black veste that falls to the thighs. Her hair is done in a braid down the back. She also wears combat boots.
If toi want to go totally accurate toi can mess yourself up a bit, a wound just above the eyebrow and flame-painted fingernails (For those that have read the book will know).
And since Katniss has black hair and grey eyes, if toi don't have the colour toi can dye your hair to that colour (Though wearing a wig is a better option), and wearing grey coloured eye contacts on your eyes.
For the bow and arrows, Katniss had a compound bow in the book (because she described it with having three strings), and a small quiver with arrows.
She also wore a backpack that was orange in colour.
In the movie:
Its a bit slightly different to the appearance in the book.
Katniss wears a black v-necked t-shirt with a mockingjay pin, green cargo pants, two black belts (worn over another), and a black hooded veste with grey highlights. She also wore brown boots.
Katniss's hair was worn in a emballage, wrap around dutch braid with the braid starting from the left wrapped around ending to her right shoulder. toi can learn how to do this braid in this video here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=pyzCle_gVC8
Katniss was a brunette in the movie with light blue eyes. If toi don't have these features toi can do so with a wig and eye contacts.
