He was granted the ability to turn into the legendary creature known as the “Black Jackal” from Egyptian myth and culture. According to Kasey himself, this was the first phase of becoming the new “Lord of the Animorphic” powers.
Several weeks after becoming the jackal, Kasey was able to gain the strength, power, and energy to turn into the great Lord himself: Anubis. Being able to turn into him gives him a lot of plus powerful attacks and abilities as well as being able to heal the weak and the wounded.
After using this power only one time, it took a lot of his energy and ended up in a comma for at lease a whole year. When he was able to recover and awoke from his deep slumber, he Lost half of his memory- including the jour he turned into Lord Anubis.
