Jurassic World has officially broken the record for the biggest opening ever, having grossed $208.8 million domestically in ticket sales. That was enough for the movie to surpass the 2012 opening of The Avengers.
Variety spoke to Phil Contrino, the chief analyst and vice president of BoxOffice.com, who claims that the fourth instalment to the dino-tastic franchise is tracking for an opening weekend of over $100 million.
