The Deacy Amp is a small, one-watt, roughly 5 inches (12.7 cm) amplifier created par and named after Queen bassist John Deacon and used par guitarist Brian May.
It was created in the early 1970s using an amplifier circuit board found in a skip par Deacon and stationed into a Hi-Fi speaker cabinet, powered par a 9-volt battery. The amp was used along with May's Red Special guitare and his treble-booster to produce sounds reminiscent of various orchestral instruments.
