He was right after all; it was like he had read my life story like a book. The past, the present and the future. I was stuck in this life and there was nothing I could do. I had everything but yet to me it seems so much like nothing. But was it worth having everything and not being happy.

I woke up in my room the suivant jour and sat up in bed. I had no idea how I got there; all I could remember was ditching Nicholas and running into Joe. I sat up in my lit and then I noticed that I wasn’t the only one in here. I could hear soft whimpering and when I looked around the room, I caught sight of a girl, dressed in full black with her head in her hands. I went closer to her and then I realized it was Selena.
“I’m losing my best friend” she a dit and then broke down crying harder than before. I stooped down right in front of her and she looked up at me through her red puffy eyes.
“Selena, your not-”
“Don’t say that,” she a dit and turned her head away from me looking at the floor, “ Your not you, toi never go against your word and it’s like I don’t even know who toi are anymore ” “We don’t hang out ou do stuff together;, nothing”
“Selena, toi know it’s because the palace is always on my back about getting a husband and becoming queen”
“I know and toi do your best to try avoiding them”
“Selena, I’m sorry” I a dit and hugged her. She looked at me then she smiled. “I’m going to the bathroom to wash my face and apply plus makeup’’ she stood up and walked to the bathroom and I followed her.
“Do toi know how I got here?’’
“Didn’t toi come here last night?’’
‘I don’t remember”
She started watching her face and after I applied her makeup. When we were finished she looked at me and that same sober look appeared.
“I need to tell toi something”
“What?’’
“Because toi ditched your fiancé twice in one day”
“What are they going to do, ground me?”
“No, they moved up the rendez-vous amoureux, date of your weeding to this Saturday’
“But that only gives me 3 days until then’’
“I’m sorry”
I could feel tears streaming down my face and I sat down on my bed. My hand went up and grabbed my or locket around my neck. I opened it and read “My l’amour is forever and always’’ I looked down and then back up at Selena.
“I need to get out of here” I a dit through tears.
