A number of renowned musicians, including G-Dragon, Taeyang and IU, have been confirmed to take part in a festival organized par MBC's flagship program "Infinite Challenge".

The shoot for the festival, one of the biggest events hosted par the variety program, began Thursday, according to Korean media outlet étoile, star News.

This is the third time G-Dragon will participate in the festival, following appearances in 2011 and 2013.

It will be the first time for Taeyang and IU, however. Four-member rock band Hyukoh is also slated to take part in the program.

The good news keeps coming as actor Kim Soo Hyun also confirms his appearance on the upcoming KBS drama “Producer,” following the confirmation news of Gong Hyo Jin and IU earlier today for its leading actresses.

Both his management agency, Keyeast, and the production team of “Producer” have stated that Kim Soo Hyun is set to appear in the drama penned par Park Ji Eun, the writer of Kim Soo Hyun’s most récent small screen hit, “My l’amour from the Stars.” Kim Soo Hyun will be playing the role of a rookie PD.
