160602 Akdong Musician’s Chanhyuk Reveals His Song Gift to Suzy and IU on “Weekly Idol”

Akdong Musician made an appearance on the latest Weekly Idol episode aired on June 1st where brother Chanhyuk shared a song gifted to miss A‘s Suzy and soloist IU.

During the profil segment, Chanhyuk revealed himself to be a big fan of Suzy before creating a short and impromptu song for her called “A Suzy Day.”

He additionally adds that IU, who appeared at the sibling’s solo concert in the past, was also gifted a song to which many fans will recognize as the track “Fried Egg.” Akdong Musician sang a short version of this song for the viewers and MCs with Suhyun taking over IU’s parts causing Hani to fall in l’amour with her voice as she sang.

In the same episode, Chanhyuk and Suhyun showed off their dancing abilities during the ‘Random Play Dance’ segment where they were taken par surprise but not deterred par additional tracks of their labelmates songs.

150901 IU makes surprise guest appearance for Hyukoh’s performance in Hongdae

Singer IU made a surprise appearance at a band Hyukoh montrer on August 1.

During a low-key Hyukoh montrer held in a cafe located in Hongdae, IU surprised everyone par coming up to the stage without any notice.

During her appearance, she played the acoustic guitare and sang Lee Moon Sae‘s “Old Love.” She also performed a duet with Hyukoh’s frontman Oh Hyuk, chant the band’s hit song “Gondry.”

IU has previously voiced that she was a huge fan of the band, posting a picture of herself holding the band’s album to her Instagram account. They got acquainted recently as they both participated in “Infinity Challenge‘s” 2015 musique Festival.

Indie band Hyukoh recently teamed up with High Cut and did their first-ever fashion photo shoot since the start of their career.

For this photo shoot, the four members showed off their individual unique charms while sporting oversized outfits and eye-catching body paintings.

IU revealed that even she has had her moments with her manager.

On the episode of China’s Sohu TV and iQiyi’s “Star From Korea,” aired on August 7, IU says she was a little bit of both when asked, “Are toi as harsh to your manager as Cindy is in “Producer?”’

“We’re human too, so it’s inevitable that we see each other’s good sides and also get on each other’s nerves after spending 10 to 20 hours together,” she says. “I also have a quick temper. I used to argue a lot with my ex-manager. I even threw the car key saying I was never seeing him again.”
