How much do toi think Inuyasha changed in The Final Act?

i think its plus like:
Before-
"F*** Kagome, I dont give a d*** about that b****, all she's good for is detecting those f****** shards!"
After-
" Kagome taught me how to smile, how to believe in people, Kagome was the reason I could make Friends and rely on those friends, To shed tears for others, to understand true strength and kindness…They’re all things I learned from Kagome. Kagome was born to meet me and I was born for her."

but after Inuyasha has a different reason to protect kagome now he protect kagome as his l’amour his girlfriend and he protect kagome with his life (its in final act episode 18 part 2) thats how he change
