Personally I don't want another movie. I haven't read TRO9 yet (and I heard it's good) but TPO6 was not nearly as good as IAN4. The filming location and scale of some of the stunts that would be involved in the sequel would make a film very expensive to produce, ou things would be cut out of it like they did in IAN4. Also, the book ends on a cliffhanger, even greater than the first one, and would require a third film at the least for a proper ending.

There's no official word on whether a seconde movie will be made for TPO6. I doubt it now as the series seems to be losing steam. I don't think IANF was nearly as successful as the producers anticipated. The movie itself was not the best because they cut out a lot of important action (ie. the fire). The publicity side included a blatant PR relationship attempt gone-wrong. Dianna "broke up" with Alex pretty much the jour the movie came out and denied they were ever dating in the first place, despite them being papped s’embrasser and going out together, and even marriage rumours (hardly believable- this was our lady D we're talking about). Even though Sarah barely appears in the seconde book, the events surrounding the first movie would make it difficult for a sequel to succeed. In addition, it also would be hard to get Alex and Dianna to work together again and make it look like they don't have some bad blood between them.

I can only imagine a seconde movie being a flop. The first book was great. The film was meh in comparison. The PR was terrible. The seconde book was not as good as the first. I don't see any reason for a seconde film to have very much success.
