Ok, boys and girls... there is some strong language in this chapter... toi have been warned! (Also, fun fact: this story as a whole is now 65 pages long!)

    Padding around the house barefoot, Hugh made a ghostly looking specter. His pale face floated up one hallway and down another, the image aided from the steam rising out of his coffee mug as he waited for it to cool. Not a single person would blame the man for wanting a real drink at this point, but Hugh had always avoided strong spirits, for a number of reasons. The Christmas-hiatus was very long. Hugh went back to England to celebrate Christmas with his children, however it was a little weird to be « alone » with the kids. He and Jo have already filed for divorce and the divorce should be pronounced in a few weeks.
Now, he’s back in L.A. and all he can think about is … Lisa. Why hasn’t she waited still a few months ! Why did she meet and rendez-vous amoureux, date Robert right now ? He’ll be free in a few weeks ! Free to tell her how much he loves her, how many times he dreamt he was making l’amour with her, s’embrasser her …« Com’on, boy, nothing is lost, toi still...

    It wasn’t Lisa.
    A very similar accent floated back at him, a voice he had not heard in some time…
    “James. Have toi finished for the night?”
    Hugh’s voice nearly cracked, and he tensed his diaphragm as hard as it would go to stop it. “Jo. I didn’t know toi were—what are toi doing here?”

I have discovered that I had totally the wrong name for Lisa's dog! Apparently it is named Shazam, and I've been calling it Kapow all this time (of all things to screw up... lol) so please note that from now on, if the dog makes an appearance, it will have its correct name.
