'House' Creator Didn't Lie About Huddy Sex 

"We have to do it the House way..." I didn't realise House was seperate from what normal is. xDD

But, I agree that it's taken a step back and out of the spotlight which is highly frustrating. Hopefully they'll bring the goods next season.

If they don't then they're just asking for trouble from the diehard fans xDD

I agree. It's so frustrating because it was a hallucination, but for me the more frustrating thing was the fact that I didn't even consider it would be a hallucination because I was so set on it being real *tear*

It gave us a lot of insight into House's feelings for the first time, so that's always a good thing.

They better have some good writing about Huddy next season :)

It did, which is really good, but I (and I'm sure HEAPS of people) wish it was real too. But it wasn't, which is why I'm really excited for next season to see where their relationship stands.
I'm sure there will be *fingers crossed in case*

Although I'm OK with the season's finale, because it proved House's true feelings towards Cuddy, let's face it, we need some hot REAL huddy action in the next season.. :)

I have these deep dark fear that, after DS and KJ both talked about bringing Chameron's relationship back into the fold in S6, that they won't give us the same attention like they did this season.

I'm trying to smile again. I felt better than the previous week but I can't really help but feel bad about the hallucinated Huddy sex.

but for Hugh's and Lisa's effort sake, I love the scene. I know, it must be hard to shoot it after all these two casts, in real life, are close to each other so I really do appreciate their effort in making the scene clean and sober and hot.:-)

Anyways, I don't want to expect so much more for the next season. Whatever will be, will be. Even if we wail out on streets, DS won't push with the Huddiness anyway. I am not giving up on my ship. No way. What I'm giving up is the idea of expecting great things in s6

They can't just give up on Huddy after Both Sides Now...there are so many unanswered questions about their relationship that has to be answered in the next season..Ok, it may never be a successful relationship, but it can be a relationship...

oh sorry, lol, I guess it was my mind being pesismistic due to the finale!
and about the article, I really do hope they don't feel as if they've given us what we wanted and they can let go of the Huddy relationship for a while.....because, they did give us something, but we are by no means satisfied...or at least I'm not.

we all wanted it to be real, but it was real for house and it showed how much a part of him wanted this. so it meant a lot. too bad cuddy isn't aware of how house feels.
anyways, I think there'll be lots of huddy next season - at least in the first few eps. I remember HL saying season 6 will pick up from what happened in the last eps and that it'll take a while for things to go back to normal. I just hope house doesn't quit on cuddy =] otherwise huddy is here to stay ;)

Maybe I'm the only one but I am actually glad that the sex was a hallucination, and don't even wih it were real anymore. I love that TPTB take what I think I want and give me something better that I never knew I wanted. The insight we got into House's feelings because it was a hallucination and its much more poingnant because it means that everything he said in UMS was true, since his subconscious was saying it. I also think that if the sex had been real, it wouldn't have made much sense with the storyline(12 hour detox?). If it had been real in this case, it may have ruined Huddy, he may have thought in hindsight that it was pity sex or something else. I think they have set it up perfectly for Huddy in the future, and I actually don't mind if we don't get real sex next season. I think they both need to work some issues out(not just House's mental stuff) before they even think about having a relationship of sorts. So I don't mind waiting if it gives Huddy a greater chance at success in the future/at the end of the show.

In lots of ways I agree with K. But I do hope they can make it happen in S6. Or atleast continue with their storyline and not just shut us out. They have it flowing really well now. And it definitely needs to be dealt with. Especially since we know how House feels. I'm pretty excited for next season..and Huddy :)

We're all feeling uneasy about where we stand next season, but I bet that after the first two or three episodes we'll be back to our normal Huddy selves :)

I know Huddy will continue in some form next season. I'm not going to expect huge leaps forward, because I don't expect them to get together any time soon and House has a lot of mental sh*t to sort out. In fact I see it as a good thing if Huddy is drawn out. The thrill is in the chase and all that and tbh I'd hate it if they got together and then we saw them split up to serve as drama. That would be awful and would change the dynamic between them completely. I'm happy to have them dance around each other for another few seasons or however long the show will go on for as long as it's realistic of course. :)

I have anything to say, you said exactly my thoughts.

I'm excited about next season! I know it will be awesome like all of the other House seasons and hopefully we get a lot of Huddy. I like how people keep trying to show how DS didn't lie. I'm fine with the season finale, I even liked it, even though I do wish it had been real. But no matter what people try to say DS is a big fat liar. Lol, but everybody lies.

I know I will sound like a downer, but I fully feel that they won't show anything about Huddy for several episodes into the season and then there won't be much. I think that DS doesn't want them to be happy with each other, or actually, happy at all. I think he feels if House were happy, it would ruin the show. Personally I think that there could be a way of having him be semi-happy at home and still the same person at work. I don't think they will do that though, just too much of what the majority of fans want. I have a feeling they are done with the majority of Huddy action now for a long, long time to come, if they ever show us anything of substance again.
The relationship stuff next season will be all about Chameron and Foreteen. Probably more about House and Wilson than Huddy. House isn't going to come out of the hospital and tell Cuddy what he was halucinating, that just isn't going to happen.
It's sad, but I think that is how it will be.
Huddy will still be a factor in my own mind though. That is the only way I can make it work when someone else has the pen and paper that run House.

You never know what they're going to do, but since House is the main headliner anything that revolves around him is going to be focused on. Huddy always has been, and always will be.

Well he did show that House WANTS to be happy. And what makes him most happy. So I love that DS did that for us. It was beautiful. So even though they may not have him/THEM happy like we'd like..I think what we get is just as good because of the intensity he brings to it. Like if we were to just get the happiness House got from the sex, it wouldn't show how deep his feelings went like his hallucinations did. So DS has his own way of doing it, and it's not all that bad. I definitely think we will get more of this in S6. They left it in a way that they'd have to go back to it. Stay positive guys!! ;)

well the artical did give us huddy's some hope for the future at lest.

I bet they won't give us a real huddy relationship until the last eight to ten episodes of the entire series.

I totally agree with wendus92 that the season's finale proved House's true feelings towards Cuddy and this is what we should be happy about... but I'm waiting for a real action in next season!!
