Wilson: Hey, I brought toi coffee.
(House looked curiously at Wilson, as he sat down opposite him. The team where finishing up with the POTW leaving House time to reflect in his dimly lit office.)
House: toi seem, happier.
Wilson: Yeah well, I’m a happy person.
(House drank some of his coffee, when Chase walked in with Thirteen following him.)
House: What are toi doing up here?
(Chase seemed hesitant to reveal the reason, when Thirteen entered behind him with a file in her hand.)
Wilson: Has something happened?
Chase: You’ve got another case.
(Thirteen handed House the file she was carrying; and stepped back suivant Chase and had a look of concern with Chase and Wilson exchanging a look.)
Wilson: What’s going on?
Chase: There’s something wrong with Cuddy.
(House looked up from lire the file.)
House: Where is she?
--
(House and Wilson went to see Cuddy who was in the ER. Cameron and a group of nurses surrounded her, as she lay lifeless on the hospital bed.)
Wilson: Oh my God. What happened?
Cameron: We don’t know; there was a crash, and we’ve done everything but there’s still an underlying problem.
House: What?
Cameron: I don’t know. The crash may have caused a minor seizure ou something; whatever it is, it’s killing her brain, lungs. If it reaches her cœur, coeur she’s dead.
(Wilson looked away, unable to look at Cuddy’s body covered in blood and dirt from the road. House knew he had to find the problem, otherwise she would die; he had tp be objective.)
Cameron: Are toi going to take the case?
(Wilson looked at House who was still La Reine des Neiges in time.)
Wilson: House?
House: Yeah.
(House looked at Wilson.)
House: Get the team together.
--
(The team were brainstorming ideas with Wilson, whilst House was in his own office stuck with the images of Cuddy in ICU.)
Foreman: Could have been trauma.
Kutner: Crash could have caused a haemorrhage in her brain.
Foreman: That would have killed her as soon as she was moved.
Wilson: I’ll get a PET scan.
(Wilson pointed at Foreman and Thirteen.)
Wilson: toi two check her accueil and bring Rachel in.
Taub: Maybe it wasn’t the crash that caused this.
Wilson: What do toi mean?
Taub: The crash could have escalated a toxin in her body.
Wilson: Go with them.
(Taub and the rest of the team left. Wilson turned around to look at House in his office; but he was gone.)
--
(House looked into ICU where Cuddy was in. There where 3 nurses attaching a ventilator to help her breathe.)
House: toi can leave.
(The nurses finished what they were doing before they left House alone with Cuddy who was still unconscious. House looked at her before reaching out and holding her hand.)
Wilson: House.
(Hearing Wilson made House let go of Cuddy’s hand, and turn towards him. Standing at the doors, Wilson looked away before walking towards House.)
House: What is the team thinking?
Wilson: Toxin, something that may have gone into over drive after the crash.
(House glanced back at a lifeless Cuddy, her black curls falling suivant to her pale skin.)
Wilson: We need to get a PET scan.
House: Yeah.
--
(Thirteen, Foreman and Taub arrived at Cuddy’s house.)
Foreman: Remy, toi check on Rachel. Make sure she’s okay.
Taub: I’ll check for any med’s in the bathroom.
Foreman: And I’ll look around for some leaks ou holes.
(Thirteen entered Rachel’s room, and found her asleep. She picked her up out of the lit de bébé and put her into the baby carrier.)
Thirteen: There’s nothing wrong with Rachel, seems fine.
Foreman: Still can’t rule out a leak of some kind.
(Taub looked in Cuddy’s medicine cabinet in her bathroom putting most of it in a plastic bag to bring back to the hospital.)
Foreman: Did toi find anything?
Taub: I took everything just in case, but nothing alarming in any of the rooms I checked.
Foreman: No leaks ou suspicious building work. Are toi okay?
Thirteen: Yeah, it’s just she looks so peaceful.
(Thirteen glanced down at Rachel before putting her in the car and they all drove back to the hospital.)
--
(Wilson and House were looking at the monitors while they were taking a PET scan of Cuddy.)
Wilson: How are toi taking this?
House: What do toi think? I obviously don’t want her to die.
Wilson: If it’s a toxin then all we have to worry about is broken Bones and some bruises.
House: Lets hope your right. I don’t think toi are though.
(Wilson looked at House who looked at the monitor.)
House: She’s got a cyst on her lung.
Wilson: She’s got plus than one, looks like-
House: Five.
--
(House returned to his office and found different types of medication sprawled across the team’s desk.)
Taub: This is what we found in her home.
(Thirteen entered with baby Rachel, putting the baby carrier on the floor and sat down suivant to her as Rachel gurgled and laughed.)
House: What’s she doing here?
Thirteen: We couldn’t leave her alone.
House: Take her somewhere else.
Thirteen: I’ll take her to the playgroup after the differential.
Taub: As I was saying, these are the meds we found.
House: Unless a tampon caused all her problems, we can rule out eight of the ten things you’ve brought me.
(Taub sat back down.)
Foreman: What are the two things that are relevant?
House: Headache tablets, not the ones toi buy over the counter.
(House picked them up.)
House: Prescribed par Dr.Cuddy, for Dr.Cuddy. There’s not many left.
Kutner: So?
House: If she took to many it could have caused the haemorrhage.
Foreman: And the other thing?
Thirteen: Diet pills?
Foreman: Cuddy can’t be taking diet pills.
House: Your right, she isn’t
(House opened the bottle and emptied them out onto the table.)
House: They’re birth control pills. That could explain the cysts we found.
Foreman: It doesn’t explain everything though.
(Wilson entered with news.)
Wilson: She’s in surgery to remove the cysts.
(House walked past him and made his way to the ou balcony.)
--
(House looked down at the operating table, and watched the whole procedure. Wilson entered and sat with him.)
Wilson: toi okay?
House: Haven’t we already gone over this?
Wilson: I understand how toi feel.
House: She’s my boss.
Wilson: How can toi still think of her that way? toi kissed her.
House: Do not compare this to toi and Amber.
(Wilson folded his arms and breathed out loud to montrer us frustration.)
Wilson: toi have to stay objective don’t you. Lisa could die and toi still won’t admit your feelings!
House: She could die if I’m not objective!
(House and Wilson looked back down at the OR, when Cuddy went into cardiac arrest.)
