Perhaps this will be tied to House's pain issue and maybe a new approach to that - it's long overdue and it has to be addressed.

@PC: i forced my husband to rewatch "Three Stories" last week and he came up with this very powerful question:

Now that House has come to terms with his handicap, with Stacy's actions, with what happened to him then,
Now that he is really trying to be happy and he has accepted that "it's just a damn leg",
Now that he is still in pain that will at some point affect his life and his relationship with Cuddy,
Why won't he just amputate his leg and live pain-free?...

I think it's a very extreme idea, but after all, it is something that i would LOVE to see explored on the show.

I don't have twitter but I read GY tweet about this a little while back. Someone asked if the episode would be about House amputating his leg since there are no coincidences with the titles in this series. He said "no, maybe there are two sides to every story" This combined with the spoilers we got from Ocasio about how House and Cuddy's conflict can be seen from both sides and it will be seen if this comes back again make me worry. I'm not terriably worried just a little trepidatious.

cool
I think they're going to rectify a mistake. House and Cuddy appeared to have been complete strangers in three stories and maybe their planning to do a backstory to why they were that way...now I wanna finish my fic from a while back in relevance to this theory. Hahah

I wondered that myself actually. I haven't thought of an answer though. Maybe the pain isn't severe enough at the moment for him to want to take that step.
