Cuddy: Well, I enjoyed it.
House: I know.
(Cuddy got up and pressed the emergency button numerous times to start it up, but nothing happened.)
Cuddy: Great, I guess were stuck here.
--
It was now almost 2 am. They were both still slumped on the floor.
Cuddy: Why did toi come to my house?
House: Why is it important?
Cuddy: It’s important to me.
(House looked at her before rubbing his leg)
House: I don’t know.
(Cuddy crossed her arms, and sighed.)
Cuddy: I want this to work. I want us to work.
House: What makes toi think I want this?
Cuddy: House, I knew what toi were like before the leg, before toi were an addict. What makes toi think I believe that who toi are now, is what toi were back then?
House: I am—
Cuddy: Not.
(House looked up at her, unable to hide his vulnerability.)
Cuddy: Look at me now, and tell me toi don’t want something more, something bigger than what toi already have.
(House went silent, which only annoyed Cuddy even more.)
(Cuddy stood up, and tried the button again. Letting out her frustration on it, before sitting down again suivant to House.)
House: I’m sorry.
Cuddy: I don’t care anymore.
(Cuddy held her head in her hands.)
(House observed her, before popping 2 Vicodin.)
House: Come here.
(House gestured for her to lean on him, and she did. House put his arm around her.)
