Ok so I'm not sure that I should be écriture this as an article, and it's my first article so it probably sucks but here goes nothing.
I know "Emancipation" was definitely not Huddy(or even Cuddy) heavy at all, but I think the lack of Huddy in this ep is significant. The fact that they are avoiding eachother and really have not had a moment completely alone together since their Kiss proves how much it meant to each of them. House especially is afraid to be in the same room with only her, as evidenced in "The Itch" and "Emancipation." He knows that if they are alone together, he will have to talk about his feelings, which might lead to them possibly entering into a "relationship" ou just making out again lol. Also, House is just plain scared, he has no idea how to handle his feelings and what to do when confronted with Cuddy, the person who is responsible for those feelings being there.
I also want to talk about Wilson's role in this episode and how he is actually helping House par not giving him advice. Some people speculate this is because Wilson has feelings for Cuddy, but I really don't think that is the case. I loved Wilson's passive attitude, because par not pushing House to do anything, he is actually making House think about it on his own. When House was talking to Wilson about how he didn't ring either of Cuddy's bells(lol), he sounded disappointed in himself, which was projected when he told Wilson, "You're disappointed." Wilson's lack of input is a way for him to "emancipate" House in a sense. Wilson has always been House's "conscience" but now House is forced to think for himself about what he wants. If House does come to the realization that he wants a relationship with Cuddy, it will be that much plus rewarding, because he will have decided it on his own.
Finally, on to the final scene, which is probably my favori moment in the episode. The look on his face when he is looking at Cuddy is pure LOVE. That is all I can really say about it, he is so taken par her. He stopped whatever he was doing when he saw her, and looked at her so longingly, it killed me. Even when he and Wilson start walking, it takes a little while before House can tear his eyes away from her. I also loved when Wilson asked, "Do toi want to talk about her?" and House replies, "Nope," because he wants to figure out what he's going to do himself.
So all in all, althought the episode did not have even one House/Cuddy scene, the fact that it didn't makes it plus realistic and significant.
Also, OMG I cannot wait for suivant week's episode, it is going to be so intense!!

I'll tell toi a little bit about myself first. No offense to hamerons, but i have always been a outright HUDDY fan.So I am obviously bouncing off the walls. When this seaseon starts, I feel like everyone has kind of abandoned House. I mean I get the whole pain in the a$$ thing but still. Wilson is the one that fixes everthing and for him to basically laugh at him when he apologizes is cruel. THe bright light at the end of the tunnel is Cuddy is going to do whatever it takes to make House happy above anyone else.
SO GO CUDDY!
SO GO CUDDY!
I couldn't sleep and I had a gush of inspiration hit me and so I decided to make a Huddy poem :)
Dedicated to the awesome that is you,the Huddys ^^
Enjoy!
A lover from afar,
Isn't really a lover at all.
If she truly loves him,
And he truly amoureux her.
Aren't they amoureux at all?
They were once lovers.
Deeply passionate lovers.
But those days have come,
And those times have gone
But they both hadn't moved on.
She had gone through many
Lusters and not one lover.
She had thought about him
And that made the lusters
Turn into dust.
He had gone through a another lover,
But she wasn't like her.
As he thought about her,he
Began to l’amour she more.
But she moved on to another.
A lover from afar,is
Truly a lover at all.As thoughts
Become actions,and actions,
Became thoughts.
He and her are indeed,
amoureux from afar.
Tell me what toi think :)
