He needed her
We déplacer vers l'avant, vers l’avant in time. House is going out with Cameron (fear not) and Cuddy is going out with Wilson.They realise their feelings for one another.
“So, what shall we do tonight, do toi wanna stay at mine”?? Cameron said.
House was not listening, he never listened. He had gone beyond the point of caring. He and Cameron had been dating now for 6 months. He had never intended it to get this far. He didn’t l’amour her. He loved someone else. He had only gone to her as a booty call, a stupid mistake, but she took it the wrong way. She always did. Now 6 months later, here he was, plus miserable than before, but he felt he couldn’t leave her. He needed the connection. He needed someone to care. He needed someone else.
She was his reason for living, the one who could always make the pain go away. His gem, his companion.
He had memorised the sound her stilettos made, each time she came through his office door. He had memorised the way the afternoon light fell upon her face, when she was scolding him once again. She had never looked plus beautiful to him.
Each day, he hoped that he could capture a glimpse of her, just to remind him of why he bothered going into work at all. She was the light of his life.
But when she had started dating Wilson, he felt like his cœur, coeur had been shattered. His best friend and his boss. Since he had started dating Cameron, he had seen less and less of her. As time grew, so did his pain. He was in agony. He needed her.
She was his reason for living, she was his heart, his soul and his constant thought.
Many years before, he had some hope for them both. They were in college, and had spent one night together. However, they were both scared. Scared of having their hearts broken. He had never forgotten this night. The meaningfulness, the passion, the spark that always seemed to be between them. She was his all, his companion, his soul mate.

“Cuddy, are toi ok?” Wilson asked.
They were at her house having dinner. She had to be in the comfort of her home. She needed something to belong to her.
She and Wilson had been dating for 5 months, and she still felt nothing for him. But she needed him, she still had a small bit of hope in her cœur, coeur that the relationship would drive house to jealousy. So far, her plan hadn’t worked.
Wilson was a friend, but she didn’t l’amour him. She loved someone else.
That someone else was the one that slipped away. Her only. Her sweetheart.
Despite herself, she had never Lost her l’amour for him, since that one night at college, when she had felt the connection. It pulled and tugged at her heart. He was always in her heart, somewhere deep, where she could keep her feelings at bay. But it was always there, and she knew it. She would never forget him.
She had memorised the way his cane sounded, as he confidently marched into her office, demanding another ridiculous request. She loved the way his face always seemed to look calmer, and plus tranquil whilst in her office. He seemed at home. But she had never read anything from this.
Months ago, they had shared a kiss, after her adoption fell through. She thought about this everyday, and every night. Once again, that little section of her cœur, coeur that was only for him, showed itself for a moment. A reminder of why she put up with him. She missed the feel of him. The way they seemed to link into each other, they way that during that kiss, nothing else had been going on, it was just them. Never before had she felt a want like this. She needed him. He was her equal, her first and last love, her friend, her enemy. The pain in her ass, but the ache in her heart.
