From the Press Release
DreamLogic Theatreworks is known for creating exhilarating performance events at the bleeding-edge of live entertainment. Now, inspired par modern horror's greatest innovator, DreamLogic presents its most provocative event yet: H.P. Lovecraft's Elder Gods. According to Managing Director David Sweeney, "We believe it isn't enough just to put on a show. We take toi inside another world, let toi explore it from every angle, at every moment in real time. The voyeuristic thrill our audiences experience is unlike anything you've ever felt in a live performance."

In a récent interview Artistic Director Scott McKinsey explored why Lovecraft is compelling, terrifying and uniquely suited to the DreamLogic treatment. "He knows how to get under your skin, in your blood, in your mind," says McKinsey. "His horror is visceral, cerebral, very contemporary. It's sexy. H.P. Lovecraft is one of the great creative visionaries of the 20th Century. Contemporary giants such as Stephen King, Guillermo del Toro, Neil Gaiman, Joss Whedon, John Carpenter and Ridley Scott all credit Lovecraft as inspiration for some of their most iconic work. Without Lovecraft, contemporary science fiction and horror as we know them would not exist."

accueil of the performance, The Davis at 620 Davis rue is an expansive historic structure overlooking the vibrant center of downtown Evanston. The structure's elegant facade, sweeping floor plan and dramatic construction have all been utilized to the fullest in transporting the audience into Lovecraft's inhumanly beautiful universe. Elder Gods features Ariel Begley, Colin Jackson, Patricia Lomden, Tyler Pistorius, J. Preddie Predmore and David Sweeney. Scott McKinsey is the Artistic Director of DreamLogic and director of Elder Gods. Lauren Sweeney is DreamLogic's Executive Designer and the costume designer for Elder Gods. David Sweeney is Managing Director of DreamLogic and technology designer for Elder Gods. Ariel Begley is movement coordinator for Elder Gods. DreamLogic Theatreworks is a non-profit theatre company founded in 2009.

Greetings from Fullerton, California!

I'm still fleshing out the descriptions, notes, tags, and more, but I have added the following Lovecraftian collections to my Flickr Collections page at:

"Eldritch Leanings: A Lovecraft Fanzine". I wanted to get these issues from 1976, 77, 78, and 79, with their articles, comments, letters, and photos (including the color versions for the very first time) up on Flickr before I begin posting the Authors/Letters/Photos Collection that will contain material that references Eldritch Leanings, ou that illustrates people mentioned in Eldritch Leanings.

The Number Two Expectation:
There is a very good chance that the August issue of Providence Monthly will contain something of interest to all Lovecraftians. I have been promoting the idea for an August piece on "120 Years of H.P. Lovecraft and Providence;" and I have reason to believe that Providence Monthly is going to do something related to what I have suggested. Get your hands on a copy of the issue, and check out the back page, "The Last Detail" to see what shows up. Watch for a headstone shot that might look familiar to those who've looked through my cygne Point Cemetery photos. The Providence...

To a Group of Lovecraftian Friends:

Greetings from Fullerton, California!

If toi liked my original Flickr collection of over 800 photos I unveiled last year, "Lovecraft’s Providence, From A Different Angle: Providence & Beyond at the Time of HPL’s Centennial, 1990," but were put off par the photos being in their original chronological shooting order, instead of par location order, then the new collection linked below may become the only way toi ever look at the same photos again!
