Sorry if someone's already made a pick like this. I just thought I'd express how unhappy I am about the fact that there's going to be a re-make.

I think my one main problem is that I have a feeling they're going to cast some hot bimbo as Nancy. Whereas the thing I loved about Nancy was that she was this awkwardly plain young woman, and she didn't give off any bimbo vibes.

Plus, no way can the new one measure up to the fantastic cheesiness of the original, if Nancy's mom doesn't pull a bottle of vodka out in every room of the house I'll be extremely disappointed.

Why can't Hollywood come up with any original ideas anymore? There are millions of books out there that have original ideas that would make great movies.

NO!!! This is one movie I'm really really disappointed in being remade! It is my favorite, and there is no WAY that anyone can do this better!! Plus Robert Englund isn't even going to be in it which makes it worse =( UGH.

I will like it as long as they keep freddy the same. I wish that Robert was going to be in it. That is why I put yes, but now that I know he isn't it will depend on what it looks like. Maybe they will get Johnny to be in this one as a cameo.
