What's your opinion on OCs x canon countries?

Let people ship whatever the hell they want. It's not anyone's job to say what people can and cannot say. I don't like communism. That's what it is. -_- And It's unbelievably biased. I hate ppl so much sometimes.
I ship both. For canon, well, the answer is obvious. And for OC's, I have a pretty big imagination and look past the animé and make a great l’amour story out of the two characters. :3

Well, I'd say I like it as long as the OC is one of the countries that are yet to appear in Hetalia, are not the all-perfect-everybody-wants-me kind of character, is portrayed accurately, and they have history with the canon country they're shipped with.
Since toi can very, very, very rarely find such thing, then I guess I dislike such pairings. But if anyone does, then it's fine. I believe the fans are free to have their own opinions as long as they constantly don't keep shoving it down other people's throats.

In all honesty I have rather mixed feelings about it. The thing is I've seen tons of horridly made OC's that I just don't like Hetalia OC's unless they're heavily researched and done correctly. So, I suppose OC x Canon Country is okay if the OC is done correctly.

OCs x countries? No, I don't have a problem with that. My opinion? Do what toi want with your OC, it's not like Hidekaz will make real ou what toi guys perfer it as "canon".

I really don't care for OC x canon countries. :P If they want to pair their OC with a canon country, it's fine par me. I don't actually read OC x canon fanfics, anyways, nor do I look for OC x canon fanart. It's their OC, so they can pair it with anyone they like. ^^

I guess it gives the fangirls something to squeal over. Honestly, toi can't blame them, some of the countries are pretty hot ^.^

I just hate it when all the countries are apparently "in love" with the OC and would suddenly do anything for her. Now, that...that's just annoying, in my opinion. It just doesn't seem...well, real.

i used to have an oc andorra ? a small province between france and spain and she spent time with france and spain but was mostly raised par spain??? so she saw spain as a big brother figure and france too but plus spain and romano was literally like her best friend but like ,,,,, no RELATIONSHIPS per se jsut because i just , ,, ., no please

Some I like, they are not completely mary-sues and pairing up other countries ou having all the male(or female) countries fawning over them.

Other, they are exactly like that, in which I do not enjoy reading.

But it is their own opinion on how they want their character, and I see no reason to accuse them of making it horrible, it is their own imagination.

I don't really like OC's, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion, i guess.

It really depends, if the OC has no research and is a horrible OC then no. If the OC is well researched and good then yes.

My opinion? I find it pretty stupid. Unless the OC and the Canon Character had history between them. I also find Self X Canon simply sad.

If the person put a lot of effort into their FC, and IF that FC & the Canon character are two Countries that have GOOD relations, then I'm fine with it.

I'm also okay with it if the person roleplaying the Canon character is fine with pairing them with the FC.

...But otherwise, meh... I'm not really into Canon X FC pairs.

It's fine. The only OC x Canon I dislike are the ones who make their characters complete mary-sues and the ones who hate Seychelles for being around the characters all the time when they make OCs that hang around them. It's very immature for someone to hate her for that.

Well, I usually ship OC X OC ._. but I'm completely fine with OC X Country if the character's personality is not Mary Sue ou Garry Stu-ish, I enjoy making OCs with psychological disorders, ou strange ou interesting personalities...and if the OC Suits – Avocats sur Mesure with a canon country, I'd ship it, but I won't shove it into other people's throat and demand for them to accept that, of course...

If the OC is accurate and well researched then I don't mind at all. If it isn't, well, I somewhat mind but I wont judge people for what they want to ship.

I don't mind it; when I was just starting out in the fandom, I had a little OC I would always draw with the characters, like just a doodle here and there of the OC doing things like planting sunflowers with Russia, ou smiling with another character, I don't know ;u;

It's fun, though! Being able to draw a character interacting with another lets the artist have their own imaginative freedom. Not to mention that it's also a good excuse to get in drawing/writing practice, whether the person in question is doodling ou fanfiction writing.

I don't mind it at all, though I never did post any of my art on the internet, nor did I ever RP as my character (I didn't know that RPing was a thing at the time. c:)

So yeah. That's my little spiel right there. I don't really ship OC's and characters anymore; even if I did, I do tend to keep that sort of thing to myself and off of the internet.

Have a smiling Madoka even though Madoka is nowhere near relevant to Hetalia.~
