Ok, that's it...

That crosses the line. They freakin changed how Pierre looked!! He's not the cute little puff ball anymore and that must mean they changed Gilbird too. T.T

I'm already ticked enough at the design and then they do this. Dear god, I already hate this new diector.

Ok, do I think the design looks pretty? Yes, if it was fanart I'd fine it very pretty, but I do find the Chibis to be ugly.. Do I think it matches what Hetalia is ou even looks like an anime? God no, it looks nothing like animé drawing style. animé drawing style has a certain coloring to it. This looks plus like fanart ou something that should be on a manga cover. It looks nothing like Himaruya's style and it just isn't Hetalia.

Will I have to get used to it? Yes, if I am going to watch it I'll have to. Will I ever really like it? God no, it will be the worse animé drawing style I'll ever seen. Which is heartbreaking too see such a thing happen to a great series like Hetalia.

What shocks me, is how this fandom is hardly batting an eye at it. When the Last Airbender movie came out, the Avatar fandom threw a fit. So I thought this fandom would be plus upset. Guess it does show, that most of this fandom really only cares about eye candy. Shame Hetalia attracts those types of fans.

Because, like I said, everyone just wants eye candy. They are all hyocrites the way they talk. Say their hair is to yellow, when Naruto has even plus yellow hair and there are characters with green hair.. Then say they don't look real, when animé characters aren't even suppost to look real.

I mean, yeah. The Last Airbender was absolutely terrible.(In my opinion). But with Avatar they just didn't change the look. They changed the entire plot line, character traits, they didn't even pronounce the names right!

With Hetalia. It is still Hetalia (to me). There's still the personified countries, and the comedy, and the stereotypes, and the history, and the silliness and the meaning is still there. There's way plus to Hetalia than just the looks.

So yes I do agree I dislike this new art style. But I still am excited to see what this new season holds.

I would rather have Hetalia still be Hetalia, I'd rather it end with a good note. With a good memory. Then one where they screwed everything up.

Frankly, I don't even think they it can still be Hetalia with that style. There is no way they can do half the humor with it.

Ya got a point there, when I saw the trailer, i wuz like "Whoa......what happened to everybody?" like, who did the art?

No, I don't like all of the characters' new styles, there're some that dislike a lot (Greece's especially) but the animé is still the same. Still about history, comedy, stereotypes, and silly nation personifications that portray history and WWI and WWII in a way that does not make people from different races want to strangle each other over what happened in the past.

So yeah, I believe you're overreacting a bit. I get where you're coming from, but I wouldn't go as far as to say that 'Hetalia is not Hetalia anymore' just because the art changed.
