I'm new to the Hetalia fandom?

The fanbase has been dying since season 3.
Oh, an animé that pokes fun at stereotypes and makes historical jokes. The humor turned pretty stale after a while. And the remaining fanbase only cares about shipping, roleplaying, and forcing other people to watch it saying, "It's the greatest thing ever!!"

Warning to the new comers, try not to be pulled into the crazy side of the fandom. Do not believe the rumors people give to the characters. Like France is a rapist, Spain is a pedo, etc. Always read the characters info.

Always respect Papa Hima. He is are all mighty leader of this fandom. Never insult him ou disrespect the Papa.

Also, when toi ship, respect the countries and look at their history first. Don't want to insult the countries par shipping ones that have no history ou no good history, like Cuba and America ou Canada and France. Always best to ship par history and the series. toi are a plus sane and studied up shipper that way.

This fandom is not worth getting into. There's too many people who are idiots and plus alot of them ONLY care about yaoi ou eye candy. I like eye Candy and I like yaoi but I don't only just care about that. Plus alot of them spam stupid commentaires on EVERY thing dealing with history,places ou countries, etc. And not to mention alot of fans bash others for being another nationality. There are some good fans in Hetalia but most of them are highly stupid. I almost never interact with this fandom any longer due to the fact. I like the animé but the Hetalia fandom is not for sane people although there are some sane ones in this fandom. And all of the bad things are just the tips of the iceberg.

like other people have said, welcome, and dont get into the crazy side . also,dont start wars over pair over pairings with other people . its stupid . also, if toi wanna create Hetalia ocs (characters that represent states, ou other countries without official characters) MAKE SURE THEY MAKE SENSE!!!

Now, some tips to stay on the good sane side of the fandom.

-Don't be overly obsessive with shipping. Shipping is ok but don't go crazy over it. Keep in mind Hetalia has nothing to do with yaoi.

-France isn't a rapist, Spain isn't a pedophile, ect. don't label characters as something they are not.

-Don't be disrespectful towards real history. Don't make silly assumptions about real history.

-Don't apply someone's nationality to Hetalia.

-If toi want to learn history, don't learn it just from Hetalia. Hetalia doesn't cover everything and isn't always totally accurate.

-If toi are rping ou cosplaying, make sure toi fully understand the character. Don't act and turn the character into something it's not.

-Just be respectful and mature.

You're getting a lot of mixed answers. xD I say, welcome and enjoy your time in the fandom. Try to keep your head on straight, connect with others around the world, and resist the urge to become an an obsessive shipper that is only in it for the pairings (trust me, it is not a fun road to go down.) Overall, just be yourself and have fun; Hetalia's got a ginormous fanbase chock-full of different types of fans and personalities.

Just keep an open mind, don't go down the crazy path (you will know what I mean when I say this, trust me) and just, well... have fun! Pasta!~
