Zachary Quinto appears to be the logical choice to boldly go where no hero has gone before- he'll be playing a younger version of Mr Spock in the latest étoile, star Trek movie. Quinto will be donning the famous pointy ears(and presumably remodeling the impressively bushy eyebrows) to étoile, star in étoile, star trek X1, which resolves around the first encouters between a young spock and James T. Kirk.



Leonardo Nimoy, who played he origional Mr Spock, described Quinto as "A wonderful actor". He will play an older version of the charactor in the new film, directed par Lost and Alias creator J.J Abrams.

Thanks to the recently resolved writers' strike, Sylar will remain an intergral part of the montrer in the third season.
Actor Zachary Quinto had origionally been set to drop out of the last half of the seconde season due to his comitment to playing Spock in the upcoming étoile, star Trek film.

But because of the strike, filming on the Trek movie is complete and Sylar has been written back in.
"Well, we have no plans to say goodbye to Sylar right now," Tim Kring told Sci-Fi wire. "I mean that was yet another silver lining from the strike - Zachary Quinto's available to us in the third volume. That was a huge thing for us to be able to have him back."
