That's why he didn't tell Harry about the prophecy for so long, and why there's "a gleam of something like triumph in Dumbledore's eyes" when he learns that Voldemort took Harry's blood and he realises Harry can survive. Dumbledore only didn't tell Snape and Harry about the significance of this blood because if Harry didn't know, his willingness to sacrifice himself would protect people like Lily's sacrifice protected Harry before. posted il y a plus d’un an.
