Is "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I" based on a book?


The movie will be based on the first half (or so) of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (2007), the last book of the Harry Potter series, written par British auteur J.K. Rowling. The other livres in the series include: (1) Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (Sorcerer's Stone in the US) (1997), (2) Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (1998), (3) Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (1999), (4) Harry Potter and the Goblet of feu (2000), (5) Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2003), and (6) Harry Potter...

I l’amour the fact Barty Junior was a Death Eater. That's what I fell in l’amour with, in him; a judge's son being a Death Eater - that sweet, delicious irony!! And I'm also very fond of fictional, troubled father-son relationships.

J.K. Rowling, auteur of the populaire Harry Potter series, revealed her favori scene from the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows novel when she contributed to The Birthday Book, published to mark the 60th birthday of the Prince of Wales, Prince Charles.
