As a groundbreaking expedition begins in the Antarctic, pop-up penguins have been spotted from Londres to Seoul, Buenos Aires to Sydney, and Johannesburg to Washington DC, marching for an Antarctic Ocean Sanctuary.

The striking geometric sculptures have appeared par national landmarks across the globe, on local transport, and traveling to the Antarctic with suitcases in hand, including par the White House, Buenos Aires’ colorful Boca district, Sydney Opera House, and the Sagrada Família in Barcelona. One of the penguins even put on a Harry Potter scarf at the famous Platform 9 3/4 which in the book is located at Kings traverser, croix Station in London.

The Ministry of Magic.
Hi guys, since I had read the book and even written a review of it. So, here are my personal opinions on whether ou not it should be make into a film despite that it was meant to be a play.

It Should Not Be A Film

Since the passing of Alan Rickman, it would be difficult to portray him as Professor Snape as a sign of respect to the actor who has passed on yesteryear despite he is only feature in one scene during the play.

It Should Be A Film

Unless if they get the original choice, Tim Roth to play Professor Snape in one scene, I'm sure that the film will be magical like the play.
They would use special make-up on the original cast of Hermione, Harry, Ron, Ginny and Draco as adults. I would be looking vers l'avant, vers l’avant to see the original casts be part of the film again!

The Wizarding World Revisited

So, do toi want the play to be translated into a film like the précédant Harry Potter adaptations? Please commentaire and tell me on what do toi think?

The Cover of the Script Book.
Hi guys, I had finally finish lire the Cursed Child and here is my wonderful review to the 8 book of the series.

The Story

The story takes place after the events of the Deathly Hollows 19 years later, we pick off from the last part when the Potter and Weasley Families send their respective children off the Train Station and seeing them leaving for Hogwarts.
We get to know plus about Albus Potter, his relationship with his parents, especially his father Harry Potter. He also befriended his Slytherin classmate Scorpius Malfoy, the son of Draco Malfoy. The once nemesis of Harry Potter but now they are friends, to which I'm happy about!

The Characters

As mentioned, I was very happy that Draco and Harry have become Friends as the story progresses. Even the other characters as well, Ron Weasley still provides comic relief for the story. Only Hermione and Ginny still remain the same.
Albus Potter is very impulsive, in fact he reminds me of Hiro Nakamura from the TV series 'Heroes'. Mainly due to the similarities between the 2 characters! They also travel back in time, Albus uses the Time Turner (the...

"Who wants to be in Slytherin? I think I'd leave, wouldn't you?" - James Potter (DH)
Imagine being in Hufflepuff, I think I'd leave, wouldn't you?" - Draco Malfoy (PS)
Similar yet different!
Quite ironic isn't it? Father of the hero and arch nemisis of the hero have the same line. I don't think it's a coincidence that both James and Draco quote a similar line about a house they were prejudiced against. Both boys were brought up as the only sons in rich pureblood families. Both were undoubtedly spoilt. Both were definitely raised with a house prejudice. Both were definitely arrogant, attention-seeking and self-entitled as a result of their privileged upbringing.
But despite their similarities, there is also a stark contrast between both boys. James was prejudiced against a house that was known to produce the most evil wizards. Draco was prejudiced against a house that was known to produce the least evil wizards.
This showed that James' misguided prejudice was against the house he thought of as evil (which good naturally hates) while Draco's misguided prejudice was against the house he probably thought of as the loser house. Hence the contrast between...

1. First of all, Luna is so, very unique. That's a great quality to possess and I think that's why I l’amour her so much, because she stands out.
2. Luna is a true Ravenclaw, underneath all that quirkiness, there is a layer of intelligence. She's the one who led Harry to the Grey Lady and she spoke the last words for Dobby.
3. No matter, how flawed toi are, Luna will always see the good things about you.
4. Luna doesn't care what toi think of her, she's different and proud of it. For example, she always wears her un radis, radis earrings and Spectra-specs, and she doesn't care if it looks odd.

The Harry Potter adventure recently started for me; in July 2007, after seeing the Order of the Phoenix, I fell into the "cauldron" ... Since then, I have read almost all the livres and seen all the movies. Before I became a Potterhead, I rarely read large volumes, my readings were centered on comics, cinema / musique magazines and short stories.

toi can say that the world of Harry Potter will have influenced my life because I had the idea in October 2009 to register on a virtual french Hogwarts. The Sorting Hat placed me in Gryffindor and as the months went by, I learned some things, such as the existence of Nicolas Flamel, when before I knew nothing about him.
I took a close interest in the field of magic, lire works related to the world of fantasy, even realizing a model of the Golden Snitch and cards representing the coats of arms of the four Hogwarts houses!
When I sometimes lack courage, it's enough for me to think of Harry and Gryffindor to find magically devastating energy!

MARNIE!
Hi guys, I'm a big fan of Harry Potter and I remember watching Halloweentown. So, I'm going to be écriture the similarities between Hermione and another young witch, Marnie Piper.

Marnie Piper

I first saw Halloweentown back in 2001 before Harry Potter hit the cinema theatres! Okay, I was very happy that Marnie is her own character and she is not the typical Mary Sue character.

Hermione Granger

Okay, I watched all of the Harry Potter series, and I have that Hermione is actually very much like Marnie, in terms of personality except that she plus of a book-worm. To whom I look up to, not to forget that their names rhyme!
If Harry Potter and Halloweentown were to be set in the same universe, it would be great to make a film about the characters together!

Hermione ou Marnie?

Who do toi like? If toi have anymore similarities between these 2 heroines, let me know!

There have been a lot of Harry Potter theories, ranging from the ridiculous to the strange to the horrifying.

I have composed a liste here.

Please commentaire any other theories toi know of that I've missed. :)

Also: there are major spoilers in some of these. suivant to each one, if there is a spoiler, I will write the book that it spoils, so if toi haven't read that one: skip that theory.

1. The Dursley Family is Justified (Spoils Deathly Hallows)

This is one of my favorites, par the way. Now, we all know that Horcruxes often corrupt people (the medallion, Riddle's diary) and Harry is, as it was revealed in the seventh book, a Horcruxes. So wouldn't it make sense that Harry has a 'bad energy'? This could explain why the Dursleys were so mean to him - yes, they hated Wizards, but some people needed plus of an explanation and deduced that Harry simply annoyed people.

2. Draco Malfoy is a Werewolf (Minor spoiler)

Although Dobby was a smaller character we all must admit that we cried at his death. Unless we're heartless. Dobby was full of such life and kindness. He had such compassion for Harry and appreciated him. He wanted to save Harry because Harry had helped him which often put Harry in a worse place. Harry and Dobby eventually became Friends even though they weren't close at first. Dobby was par Harry's side throughout everything even when Harry didn't want him to be. Dobby had few close relationships. He had a very close one with Harry and he was still trying to find a way to thank Harry for freeing him. Harry was incredibly sad when Dobby died and was left incredibly heartbroken. (This is irrelevant, but I don't think he'll ever forgive Bellatrix for it.) He insisted on a proper burial for Dobby because he knew Dobby would give him the same treatment. Dobby in addition was always punishing himself when he didn't do things wrong which actually led Harry to give him plus sympathy and kindness. Dobby entering Harry's life was a start of a wonderful friendship. I think it ended on good terms.

Slytherin the house of apparent "evil." If toi think about it the kids in Slytherin that went with Voldemort granted probably went with him because they were sick of being rejected. Nobody wanted to be Friends with the Slytherins and automatically assumed them evil not to mention the fact that some were pressured par their parents such as Draco. Nobody considers the fact that his dad abuses him mentally and is often rough with him so nobody knows what happens behind closed doors. In my opinion people are way to quick to judge Slytherins without considering their pasts and the pressure put upon them.Thefore,Slytherins may be plus misunderstood than bad.

Hello Eddie, we meet again!
Hi guys, I managed to see this Harry Potter spin-off just now at the cinema with 2 of my classmates. Here's my review about the film since that there is no fan club about this movie yet!

The Story

Unlike the typical Harry Potter that I had read and watch the series, the story is extraordinary unusual especially in the Harry Potter Universe. I was a bit disappointed because they should have shown a bit of Lord Voldemort's background, and I thought that Credence was an ancestor of Voldemort due to their mannerism, motives and magic. Secondly, I was not very happy that they use the term 'No-Maj' instead of the usual 'muggles'. It's like using both British and American English!
Overall, I was very amazed par the special visual effects despite that it was sinister for the majority of the film. I also hope to read the book if I got the chance to do so!
Finally, a couple of characters like Newt Scamandar and Gellert Grindelward are familiar faces in the Harry Potter Universe! I found out that the latter has a connection to Voldemort later on.

Undoubtedly Bellatrix is pretty much bad to her very core, and that's what we all l’amour (or l’amour to hate about her) but I think even Bellatrix can be a sympathetic character in some regards. And however minuscule I think there is some good in her but it comes out in a twisted way, that there are some redeemable qualities within her.

The main reason I can see Bella being a bit of a sympathetic character is because of her time in Azkaban. A drab, dreary, miserable place filled to the brim with sinister creatures that suck your soul out and rip away your memories whilst simultaneously making an already chilly prison cell grow frigid. Of course she bought this one upon herself but it's still a grim fate no less. A place that can drive the sane completely batshit.

And Bella was already unraveling. Which brings me to the suivant point; Bellatrix has always been unstable and not one person thought to intervene in any way. And if they did, the notion of going up against such a powerful family to get her some help was probably off putting. I find Bella to be sympathetic in that she was very much predisposed for evil. I mean it's one thing if the characters had done...

par now everyone probably knows I have a crazy thing for Bellatrix and think she's the most wonderful thing that has happened to the HP series. But there are some huge differences between book Bella and movie Bella. But gosh dammit, I l’amour them both! Here's why.

Book Bellatrix

Book Bella for me is everything I look for in a villainess. She's ruthless, she's wild, and she's got no mercy and no qualms about her bad deeds.While movie Bellatrix does share this trait I feel as though she has her moments of guilt. I say this because I really don't know how else to interpret this;

Just that brief dismal expression before she starts smirking. This is something book Bellatrix doesn't have. She's completely ruthless. And she's completely rooted and devoted to her belief that muggles and muggleborns are beneath her. And that's what I like about book Bella; she's very nearly a pure villain with very nearly no redeeming qualities (I could state where I think she's not pure evil but I feel as though that's getting off topic and I'll likely make a separate article for it). It's rather hard to come par a character that...

par now I feel like most people know about and have formed opinions on Delphi and the details surrounding her birth. I know I definitely have and I thought I'd share them.

I'll just put it right out there; hell yeah I'm glad it happened! I know that there are a lot of people who hated the fact that Bellatrix had a kid--and believe me I do understand why, I'll get to that in a bit. But I personally was really excited. I saw the leaked script back in June (or so) and I hoped quite feverishly that it wasn't a hoax. Because the Lord knows that I'm happy that Bellatrix's legacy will live on through her daughter.

Which is another thing I'm happy about; I'm glad that she had a daughter and not a son. For one thing I feel like somehow it would have been very typical for her to have had a son--by this I mean that those old aristocratic families always seemed to favor sons. And I think that it would have taken something away if Bellatrix had a son. Likewise there was that point in the livres where Bella says "if I had sons, I would be glad to give them up to the service of the Dark Lord!" I think that this adds another layer of depth because it implies that Bellatrix...

Oh Simon! You amused me!
Wow, I'm very happy that my first Harry Potter article made it to the front page regarding the Cursed Child. Here are my thoughts on my love-hate relationship with Snape!

Simon Cowell

For obvious reasons, Simon Cowell reminds me of Professor Snape as they're cold, sarcastic and aloof. It's no wonder that I develop a love-hate relationship with Snape!

His Soft Spot for Harry

Although he had a love-hate relationship, it wasn't until the seconde part of the Deathly Hallows and the Goblets of Fire. That I kind of feel bad for Snape himself, I mean he had no intentions to kill Dumbledore and being so mean to Harry!

His Relationship with Harry's Parents

Okay, so he first met Lily before going to Hogswart and were in 2 separate houses. That was when James and Sirius (Harry's godfather) started bullying him, Snape also blurted out calling Lily a smuggle (a Wizarding derogatory term for normal human). Their relationship broke up.

Scary!
Hi everyone, since the release of the book here in Malaysia a couple of weeks ago. Here are my thoughts and why I'm excited to get the soft cover copy of the book soon, as well as my expectations.

The Characters

Okay, since the characters are the same. Despite that it's set several years after the events of the Deathly Hallows, it also features Harry's seconde son, Albus in it and will continue the Potter bloodline in the story.
I am very happy that the majority of the old characters, including Harry, Ron and Hermione are all back. Not to forget, Draco Malfoy, Harry's nemesis and his son too, to whom I do not know whether he is going to be the villain to Albus Potter in the story!

The Story & It's Format

Unlike précédant Harry Potter, this story is a script, considering that it is meant to be a play. So, I will be trying it and that it is also interesting because we can follow the story easier par lire it as a script rather going through the whimsical details that J.K. Rowling had previously did.

So after lire Cursed Child I was beyond excited for this character and I thought I'd share why. That a dit there are probably gonna be spoilers in here.

First and foremost, right off the bat I figured I'd like her because Bellatrix is her mom. To be honest out of all of my favori characters I figured that Bella would be the least likely to have a baby but here she is lol. So she gets points just for being Bellatrix's daughter. xP Carry on her legacy well Delphi. :'D

Secondly I l’amour her name. My friend and I, in the last 24 hours have made so many jokes about Bellatrix going 'derp, this is dolphin*. "Time to carry on the Black tradition, shame my mother, and ruin my kid's social life all at once." In all seriousness, as it has been pointed out, Delphi's name really refers to the oracle and I l’amour her name's deeper plus symbolic meaning. That alone is already setting up for a cool character.

I also really l’amour her edgy af character design lol. The wing tattoo is badass and I adore her hair. Not because I had my hair dyed the same way for a while ou anything... 0:D

(Countdown) Harry Potter Couples acording to fanpop

16-Bellatrix and Rodolhpus: they are the least favori of fans because they don't actually even talk to each other inside the story and is a loveless marriage ,the only in the liste to be that way

15-Petunia and Vernon: while they l’amour each other and care about their son, they being horrible and nasty people didn't let them have a higher place in the liste and as a couple if it weren't for the dememtors Dudley would had grow up to be an even worse person than they are

14-Percy and Audrey: the only we know about them is that they have two girls,we don't even get Audrey´s last name nor if she was even on Hogwarts. So we can't even guess how they would work together

13-Lucius and Narcissa: like the Dursley ,they are awful people who created a spoiled child. But their time together, their worry about their son and some people like them eiter Lucius´s character ou Narcissa´s actions (you have to get nerve to lie to Voldemort´s face) put them over the bottom 3,still not good enought

So Rowling never really discussed why Bellatrix is so obsessed with Voldemort. And I constantly ponder upon how anyone could find that no-nosed snake-man-boy attractive in any way. With that a dit I wanted to post a few of my theories as well as some of the interesting ones I've seen across the net. Once again, as stated, these are just theories and speculations. No more, no less.

First and foremost I think it's a pretty sûr, sans danger bet to say that she loves him ou at least started to l’amour him based on the fact that they share similar ideologies. Both loved the idea of pure-blood supremacy. A lot of bonds form from sharing one common ground. But that begs the question; was it her hatred of muggles/muggle borns that had her attracted to Voldemort, ou was it Voldemort who instilled these beliefs in her (rather, solidified them seeing as--based on family--she probably already held them).

One theory that I came across is that she was under the imperius curse and no one noticed. Like it made her so frantically devoted to Voldemort that it kind of just slid under the radar. As for the how's I've heard people say that since she died we'd never know; after the war a lot...

Based on an original new story par J.K. Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is a new play par Jack Thorne. It is the eighth story in the Harry Potter series and the first official Harry Potter story to be presented on stage.

It was always difficult being Harry Potter and it isn’t much easier now that he is an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband and father of three school-age children.

While Harry grapples with a past that refuses to stay where it belongs, his youngest son Albus must struggle with the weight of a family legacy he never wanted. As past and present fuse ominously, both father and son learn the uncomfortable truth: sometimes, darkness comes from unexpected places.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is one play presented in two Parts, which are intended to be seen in order on the same jour (matinee and evening) ou on two consecutive evenings.

Care for a Bat Bogey Hex? Anyone?
Greetings Fellows! I'm Isabellagirl033 and I've written this article to clear the confusion that many of toi seem to make. I've seen and heard many people classifying Ginny Weasley as a Mary Sue character. Yikes!
Jk Rowling has made the character of Ginny Weasley a very complex one. She evolves from a shy, little girl to a fiery and outspoken redhead. The problem is that Ginny has so many positive characteristics that they overshadowed her flaws.

Ginny indeed has many flaws etc.
* In the Chamber of Secrets, Ron himself says that "Ginny never shuts up, normally" meaning that one of her flaws is that she is extremely outspoken ou possibly even a bit rude with her brothers.
* Also in the Chamber of Secrets, we are donné the hint that Ginny feels uncomfortable around strangers.
* Throughout the series, we see that Ginny has trouble exposing her feelings to Harry possibly meaning that she has trouble displaying her emotions to other people.
