Calypso's P.O.V.

Being dead wasn't bad at all. No sarcasm. When Calypso died, her soul landed in a big red room. No,it wasn't a room, but like a big red empty space. Different souls were cruised around her, to see who she was. Calyspo heard one soul say "Another one? Why are we getting so many kids?"

"Tiss a shame, there all dying far to young." another a dit sadly. Calypso raised an eyebrow. A lot of the souls left, but one remained. It was Dumbledor.

"Calypso Cryson. Seventh year, Slytherin. I remember toi all right. Even though toi did toi best to avoid being seen par me, I noticed the resemblance between toi and your father. It's hidden, but still there. Of course, toi look nothing like him. But par the way toi alwase twirl your wand when toi take it out, ou sign your name small at the start but the last letter is big, ou tend to think that if your mean to your peers, toi will avoid harm. And sadly, when ever toi walk into a room,or even a familiar one, toi take in everything. Every crack, every shelf, every body present, every place that could hold a weapon, everything that could serve as a weapon. That is the sign of a brutally trained person, someone who doesn't expect kindness from anyone, someone who has been trained to kill and not ask questions ou speak up. Tiss a shame and waste of such a fantastic potential.". He shook his head sadly. Calypso stood up.

"How did toi know?" She whispered, her head hung.

"I knew your father and mother. I taught them. Your father was stroung and smart but proud and arrogant. He was, as toi may know, in Slytherin. Your mother was kind, noble, and never thought about her self. She was in gryfindor.". At that her head snapped up. No one had ever told her her mothers house, but she supposed it fit. Calypso only had a couple blurry memories of her, like one of her chant a lullaby, planting, one at the dîner table, tableau of all places, but she was smiling in all of them. She wouldnt have any wear else exept gryfindor.

"So toi see Calypso, seven years il y a when toi were being sorted," Dumbledor continued, " I was on the edge of my seat. toi could have been in three houses. Gryfindor, Ravenclaw, ou Slytherin. Not hufflepuff, because yes toi can be kind, but toi are frankly to smart. Ravenclaw because of that. I was acualy hoping for Gryfindor, and for toi to befriend Harry Potter, because it could lead toi in the right direction. It would teach toi to stand up for yourself, how to question things, and how to open up. But, I went with Slytherin when the sorting hat called it, because I knew that amist the pain toi have suffered, destiny has a funny way of rewarding people who are just as resilient as toi kindly." He turned and was about to walk away when Calypso blurted out,

"Thanks." She felt her eyes beginning to mist over. Dumbledor turned around, grinning. "Thanks professor. It means a lot to me.". Dumbledor winked and turned around and walked away. Calypso sighed, because now she had nothing to do ou go. She turned 90 degreese to her left and began walking through the mass of souls. Eventually she came to a beach. It was pretty empty, exept for a few who milled around. Calypso was about to sit down par the plage when she noticed a girl who looked no older than ten sitting par an old ash tree. She looked sad, shocked, and scared.

"Hey."Calypso a dit to the girl. "Are toi okay?" the girl looked at her with big green eyes.

"No. I can't find my Mama and Papa, and I died ten years ago." the girl had an Irish accent, and was wearing a simple white night shift.

Ten years ago, Calypso thought, She's technically almost the same age as me.

"What's toi name?" Calypso sat down par the girl. "I'm Calypso."

" toi mean like the girl in the Greek myths?"

"What?" Calypso had herd of Greece and it's famous myths, but the only thing she knew was that there were the titans, then the gods overthrew them and divisé, split the powers amonghst themselves.

The girl rolled her eyes. " toi have never herd the myth about Claypso?". Calypso shook her head. "Well, it's about a girl who is the immortal daughter of the Titan Atlas. Because her father is a big evil guy, she's banished par the gods to an island. No one can ever find the island, and she can't escape it. So basically, shes trapped there because of who her father is. I'm Rachel par the way."

"Hi. And yes, just like the Greek Calypso."

18 years later.

Calypso climbed up the ash arbre par the rive were she had first met Rachel. Things were different now. Much different than before. She hadn't met her father because he was on a different island, for people who didn't do that good of things, and the island she was on was so big that she hadn't run into her mother.

Rachel, Collin Creevy, Fred Weasly, Amanda, Taylor, June and Calypso were playing an intense game of hind-and-go-seek par the lake and Rachel was it. Amanda was a girl who was 14 when she died par a train accident two years il y a with her 15 an old brother Taylor and June was 16 when she died three hundred years il y a in the slave trade.

Calypso saw Collin in the water, a little ways of, standing just below the surface. The dead don't need air, so toi could go in the water and not drown. Suddenly there was a flash of bright light just above the forest in the center of the island, but nothing came out. Calypso frowned, and looked back at Collin. He shrugged and came out of the water.

"What do toi think going on?" Collin asked as they marched up there.

"I have no idea" Calypso replied. When they got there, they saw Rachel, Fred, Taylor, Amanda, June, Dumbledor, Professor Lupin, Tonks, and almost everyone on the island crowding around. No one seemed to know what was going on. Suddenly, Calypso got a pins and needles feeling. That confused her, because since she's been only a soul for 18 years, she hasn't felt anything physical. The people around her suddenly began to get blurry, and she realized what was happening.

"No!" She screamed and began running away. Only a few feet later, she was pulled back to the slit in space. She would have been pulled in, but she gripped the edges. The souls understood what was happening. If the living come one way in to become dead, then the dead can leave one way to become alive again. Calypso gasped, and looked to the croud for help. They tried to reach out to her, but when ever they got to close there had would pull back and they didn't know why. Calypso cast one last helpless look at the croud, and slipped inside.

Calypso hit the floor hard. She groaned. She had forgotten what pain felt like. Slowly she turned and looked at the way she had come. It was already closing. Closer.....closer..... It closed all the way, and Calypso Lost all connection with the dead.

"There, toi see, is the girl who suffered the most pain out of any of you, and because of toi she will suffer again." A loud booming vice said.

"God, can toi be a little quieter? I mean, Im pretty sure toi don't have to be that loud." Calypso groaned. She turned over. She was in a large black room with a tall man standing in the center wearing a black manteau and black cloth mask. He had his wand pointed at her. There was a big group of people that Calypso vaugly remembered from somewhere all up against a wall. The oldest was probably middle aged, 30 maby, and the youngest was about 11. God, people are so weird.

" Who the hell are you?" Calypso questioned as she shakily stood up. Smeof the older people had a look of fear and confusion on there faces. The black robed person didn't say anything, but shot a spell at her and it hit her shoulder. Pain shot through her. NOW she was a wake.

"Did toi just..."Calypso looked frm her shoulder to the masked man. "You are dead meat." When he shot another spell at her, she dogged but didnt change into her loup form. Calypso kept doting spells and coming closer to him. It vaugly remnded her of her fight with Dementry. When she got a Lost three feet close, she paused in a low crouch. He paused to. A sly grin spread across his face. Slowly, a confused Calypso stood up. There was the musical twang of a bow loosening it's arrow, and Calypso snapped around just in time to catch it before it hit her face. She used her momentum to whirl around the other way and toss the Arrow at the masked man, but the gost of his appertain was the only thing that was still there. She screeched and whirled around to the person who had let loose the arrow, it was a man wearing the same as the first one, but without the mask. Calypso marched up to him, the man dropped his bow and quiver and pulled out a pair of red daggers. He threw them. Calypso caught them, then examined them.

"These are nice. Good make, style, coloring, weight. To bad toi will never will be able to use them again."Then she flipped them in mid air, and when they landed back into her hands, she threw them. He wasn't fast enough. One impaled him in the heart, the other mid chest.

Calypso turned to the people. One had shaggy black hair green eyes and glasses. Calypso's jaw dropped when she saw his scar, then her eyes narrowed.

"Harry Potter."

So yeah.

*Diagon Alley is a cobbled wizarding rue and shopping area located in Londres behind a pub called the Leaky Cauldron. Many of the set pieces were re-dressed and repurposed as Hogsmeade for Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

*To create the magical moment when Harry's wand chooses him in Ollivanders, filmmakers slowed the film speed, which is normally twenty-four frames per second, to one hundred and twenty frames per second.Remarkably, this dilation of time, some clever lighting, a smoke machine, and a fan were all they needed to produce this effect.

It was a cold day.

Freezing in fact.

Just one of the many reasons he hated the world of the muggles. Not that the Wizzarding World was any warmer. But any excuse would do Rodolphus just fine. He’d give anything really to get his wand back. After that dreadful Potter boy came in and killed Voldemort, his followers were stripped (mostly) of their magic and tossed to the muggles they so hated.

He was approaching his new home…a shitty thing it was. Of course to most beholders it was a rather upper-class style house—fairly large and with a neatly tended yard. But for Rodolphus anything built...

Three years ago, I had posté an abbreviated review of the fourth HARRY POTTER film, "HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE". This is an expanded version of that review:

"HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE" (2005) Review

Despite the release of the first two films in the film franchise, I did not become a fan of the "HARRY POTTER" series until I saw the 2004 movie, "HARRY POTTER AND THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN". I became so enamored of this third film that I regarded the release of its successor, "HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE", with great anticipation.

Released during the fall of 2005 and based...
