I had read she had a dit that she admired Gryffindor and she would be sent there. She may have had strong Slytherin traits but do not forget the Sorting Hat takes your choices into account. If she had wanted to be in Gryffindor, she would have been sent there anyway.

she wrote about snape and regulus, and he does pointing out the flaw the other house have like pettigrew the traitor, james the bully (at least in Hogwarts) but she need a group of villain
