Harry Potter Question

Imagine...

Date: October 31, 1981
What do toi think would have happened if Jacob had followed Lily into Harry's bedroom, and placed himself between his wife and son, and Voldemort?
Do toi think the agent lovey-magic-thingey would have shielded both Harry and Lily, ou would there be no change?
And if it DID work, how do toi think this would have effected the rest of the story? (concidering Severus...)

Yes, I think the love-shield would have protected Lily and Harry. I think they both would have gone into hiding, Harry would have known all about being a wizard and he would not have been so neglected.

Other than that, I don't think the story would have changed much. He still would need to defeat Voldemort, he'd still be sorted into Gryffindor, he'd still be famous.
