Harry Potter is about being a bully and hurting others, and getting away with it. It’s not about friendship and magic at all.
If Harry Potter were real, he’d be hooked on drugs before his fifth year.
96% of the people would freak out if they saw Harry Potter about to jump off a bridge. 4% would be shouting, “DO IT, YOU FRICKING PUSSY!!!” (note I’m that 4%)
95% of the people would cry if Harry Potter was no longer popular. 1% would not care. The other 4% would party day and night! (note I’m that 4%) The HP hype is dying down and none of us fans really cried, that's just overly dramatic. I also highly doubt people would actually start throwing parties over a book's popularity, I'd have a good laugh if someone did. I think more people wouldn't care than anything. Just because something is popular doesn't mean it's good, likewise just because something is not well known doesn't mean it sucks.
Harry Potter is about being a bully and hurting others, and getting away with it. It’s not about friendship and magic at all. Where to begin with that lie? For starts bullying (when it was done) was depicted in a negative light and was only a small theme in the whole story. Yes bullying played some role but it was used to bring conflict and action to the story, if everything was peaches and cream for Harry we'd have a Gary-Stu (like Bella, only she's a Mary-Sue) with a perfect life. The bulling was unnecessary to the story as it helped with character and plot development. Not to mention added reality to the fantasy. Dudley Dursley did not get away with bulling Harry, he was disciplined for it. So was Draco, on numerous occasions Dumbledore had disciplined Draco for his constant squabbles with Harry, one punishment being that he and Harry were sent to detention in the forbidden forest. Not about friendship you say? Care to explain? Harry Ron and Hermione are a group of friends that stuck together, supported each other, and helped each other to the end. Ginny, Neville, and Luna had formed a trio of a similar nature. Even the antagonist had friends; Draco, Crabbe, and Goyle had each other's backs all the time. Lol not about magic? The whole story had spell casting and hexing and magic duels! Voldemort used magic to create horcruxs, you know the magical object used to keep him alive. They have magical creatures class. They attend Hogwarts, a magic school for wizards and witches, people who are known for using magic throughout the literary world! Harry Potter is not about magic is probably one of the most ludicrous things I have heard on this spot yet, the whole series is based upon magic!
If Harry Potter were real, he’d be hooked on drugs before his fifth year. Not necessarily. What proof of that can you provide. Not all young adults turn to drugs and alcohol when they have struggles. To say so is a bit far fetched. Plus Harry has a good number of friends to turn to for help and advice so why would he need drugs?
96% of the people would freak out if they saw Harry Potter about to jump off a bridge. 4% would be shouting, “DO IT, YOU FRICKING PUSSY!!!” (note I’m that 4%) I'm pretty sure the average person would 'freak out' if they saw anyone trying to jump off a bridge or kill themselves. I feel no shame in saying I'd be one of those freaked out people, and I would try to do the productive thing and try to talk him out of jumping in the first place. Suicide is a delicate subject, of course people would 'freak out' a little. That 4% need to rethink their moral standing. Obviously those people are going through some mental struggle, are completely heartless, are just plain cruel, or don't take suicide seriously. People who encourage suicide and tell someone whom is about to take their own life to proceed... well that's just 'fricked' up. That is absolutism wrong and horrible, what kind of jerk tells someone who is about to kill themselves to do so? You should be ashamed to be part of that 4% of heartless jerks, I would be.
Usually, i wouldn't care, but in books for kids, i do care.
Vengeance isn't an attractive quality.
