Neither are childish. I never predicted that Bella would have a hybrid child (*facepalm*) or become a vampire. I thought she would stay human, and there are certain themes in Twilight that I wouldn't call childish.

Same with HP. It always surprised me, was never predictable and certainly isn't childish.

Anyone could have predicted Twilight. Harry Potter was unpredictable, because we knew Rowling isn't afraid to kill off major characters. Also, Severus Snape is possibly the least predictable character in the history of ever.

I predicted that Severus was a good guy while reading the first book.

Twilight may be predictable but sex, teen pregnancy, death, ect are not childish themes.

I think everyone knew that he was a good guy. Him being in love with Harry's mom was the big plot twist.
