Harry Potter vs Twilight Question

OMG. Do toi realize...?

In Harry Potter there is somebody named Sirius Black and in Twilight there is somebody named JACOB Black. There was something else but I forgot-if I remember I'll comment.

Little behind the curve wouldn't ya say? I think everyone's realized this par now... The coincidence would be plus interesting if Sirius was the werewolf instead of Lupin though

Haha, yeah... Sirius is a minor character for the first part of the series, he rides a motorbike, turns into a large black dog and has the surname Black. Ring any bells? :)

Yes, there's even a Billy Black, Sarah Black, Rebecca Black, Racheal Black, some other female Black, and some plus Harry Potter Blacks.
There was a guy named James Black in my Spanish class one year.

It's just a surname, it's no big deal.

Yeah, Black is in both, like everyone else, I've noticed.

There's is also the surname 'Clearwater' which is used in both books. Leah and Seth Clearwater from Twilight, and Penelope Clearwater from Harry Potter. She isn't that known, cause she's only mentioned in the films a couple of times.
- She was Percy's girlfriend from the seconde book.

Well, I don't think Stephanie Meyer was trying to copy Harry Potter. Thats like saying: "Look!! In this book there was a character named Lila and also in this book, but this book was out first!!" There just aren't that many names that sound right when toi are an auteur and Jacob BLACK sounded good to Stephanie Meyer. Its not that big of a deal.
