linkThere is a certain pattern in Grimm concerning the way it deals with fairy tales. If they are not very well known, Grimm likes to play it fast and loose. Sometimes there is suivant to no connection to it, but sometimes the writers montrer (accidentally?) a surprisingly understanding for them, which might point to them spending some time thinking about the source text, instead of just slapping a fitting quote into a story they already had in mind. If the fairy tale in question is well known, the references are plus obvious and deliberate. But then the writers tend to go for populaire believes...
