Can anyone recommend some good gothique livres to me?

I l’amour sharing any gothique culture, but lire is not my highest point.

I would recommend toi The Pit and the Pendulum par Edgar Allen Poe, but people look surpass his work because its kind of hard to read old english.

There is this manga called The Laughing Vampire. Great artwork and setting. Story is decent.
Very perverse, hence the writers style of his books.
