I think Marcus is a genuinely likeable character, and I feel bad for him, because Blair and Chuck can't help it: they're like two forces of nature, always trying to best the other, and they have this magnetism that they can't deny.

The only redeemable thing about the other love triangle is that Catherine made Nate have an interesting storyline (until Vaneswhatever showed up) and that the Duchess is AWESOME.

I feel bad for Marcus and Chuck because they both want Blair and Blair abviously wants Chuck, but I'm not sure why she's holding on to Marcus.
