Is Gossip Girl “Too White”? 

When I look at the cast of gossip girl, I see young,talented,actors and actresses. I don't think it matters what race they are. People usually see white or black, but why can't they see an actual culture like American or Hispanic. It just really bothers me when people look at a person and describe them to be white or black when they aren't just white or black because it's something more to that.

i don't see why it even matters its not like gossip girl are being racist maybe no people of different race have been right for a PART But that izi girl or whatever was black!

Erm... as long as the show is interesting, I don't give a crap about what "race" they are.

Well the show is based on books... and the books did describe in a VERY detailed manner how the characters looked... i remember people complained about Jenny not having huge boobs, i don't think they would've been able to stray off a lot from the books in the looks department... hope i made sense lol
