Episode 2: Partners in Crime

(It's been a few days since Serena's return, she and Blair are still not speaking and Serena is avoiding Nate. Nate and Blair have been spending a lot of time together.)

GG: salut Upper East Siders Gossip Girl here again, just an update for my loyal followers. S is back. toi heard it here first and B is not happy. Will S take over the crown now she's back? And we hear the crown wont be the only thing S takes from B, N is back on the table. But back to today, spotted outside Constance B and C the partners in crime working on another devilish project?

B: Come on toi owe me!
C: I don't owe anyone, anything
B: Well news flash toi owe me
C: (rolls his eyes) What do toi want?
B: Just give Nate a little light persuasion
C: toi mean tilt the scales in you're direction away from Serena?
B: Exactly
C: Fine
B: Thank toi consider you're debt paid
C: Don't expect miracles Blair
B: What?
C: He's not going to ask toi out just because I tell him too
B: I know that I'm just hoping he hasn't Lost all l’amour for me

(Jenny and Dan are walking on the rue to school)

D: So what have toi got today?
J: English, Math and P.E. No need to ask toi you'll just be thinking about you're dream girl
D: She is not my dream girl
J: Oh come on since toi met her last an toi haven't thought about anything else
D: Yes I have
J: Okay what?
D: (struggles to think of an answer) Ugh, Books...Uh writing, lots of things
J: Oh calm down
D: Shut up and anyway what about toi little miss Queen B
J: Oh Dan please it'll be a long time before I become Queen B
D: How long?
J: Give ou take a few probably never
D: Oh don't worry Jen you're not missing out on much, toi don't want to be like them
J: toi haven't seen them Dan there is this one girl, Blair Waldorf she is just perfect she has everything I would give anything to be like her
D: Don't ever say that Jen be happy with the life you've got
J: That easy for toi to say toi don't care what people think of you
D: And neither should you
J: (rolls her eyes) Look I'm gonna go. I'll see toi later
D: Bye
J: Yeah bye

(Jenny and Dan divisé, split up to their schools.)

(Nate and Chuck are outside St. Jude's talking.)

N: Have toi heard from Serena?
C: No she's been surprisingly quiet
N: I'll have to go talk to her
C: What about Blair? I thought toi two were getting on better these days
N: Yeah we are, she's been great actually almost makes me think I shouldn't of broken up with her
C: I think you've got your answer
N: What answer?
C: Blair ou Serena
N: What do toi think?
C: I think toi need to make a decision and stop boring me with you're l’amour life
N: Okay let me make is easy for you, who would toi choose?
C: (grins) Easy Nathaniel easy
N: Which?
C: Blair
N: Really? I thought Serena was plus you're type
C: She is, that's why I'm telling toi to go for Blair

(Lunch time at Constance and St. Jude's. Dan is sitting alone. Blair is with her minions. Nate and Chuck are with some other boys. Serena walks over to Blair.)

B: What do toi want Serena?
S: I want my friend back

(Blair walks away from her minions and walks with Serena to a quiet part of the courtyard.)

B: Well you're not getting that
S: Please Blair
B: toi hurt me and out of all the people I know toi would be the last one I thought would do that to me
S: I know I hurt toi with Nate but I was drunk it was never to hurt you
B: I know that, I'm actually stupid enough to believe toi on that. But toi left with out saying anything. toi left me toi didn't even call for my birthday we always spend that together
S: I know but if you...
B: But nothing Serena, this, our friendship it's over

(Blair walks away nearly in tears. Serena walks over to Dan who is sitting on a table, tableau alone.)

S: Anyone sitting here
D: (spills his drink all over the table) No. Uh sorry. No
S: Are toi okay?
D: Fine yeah take a seat
S: Thanks

(Serena sits down)
D: So not a fan of the mean girls then?
S: One of them just happens to be my best friend
D: Oh sorry
S: No it's fine, I don't think toi could call us Friends anymore
D: O
S: Sorry but do I know you, toi seem familiar
D: From a couple days ago
S: No it was longer back
D: I don't think toi know me, nobody knows me so...
S: Maybe I should get to know you
D: toi want to get to know me?
S: Is that weird?
D: Nobody ever wants to get to know me
S: I do
D: Why?
S: Wow you're full of confidence aren't you, well toi seem really sweet and kind of dorky
D: Dorky? toi go for that?
S: Ehh not really, but I can always make exceptions
D: Is Serena van der Woodsen asking me out?
S: Is... Sorry what's your name?
D: Dan...Humphrey
S: Is Dan Humphrey saying yes?
D: I think he is

(They both laugh.)

(Blair is just returning from the bathroom after reapplying her make-up. Nate walks over to her.)

N: Blair
B: Oh Nate
N: Can we go somewhere to talk?
B: Nate can't we do it some other time, I'm really not in the mood right now
N: I have to ask you
B: What? Make it snappy
N: Okay...Blair I wanna give us another try
B: (smiles) toi do
N: Yeah I've been thinking about it and I know it's what I want
B: If I'm honest me too, for a while
N: So it wasn't water under the bridge?
B: No. I never got over you. So new start? No lies?
N: (hesitates) No lies. Fresh start. (Smiles)

(Blair looks unhappy that Nate hasn't admitted he slept with Serena.)

N: Are toi okay?
B: I'm fine

(Blair steps closer to Nate and they kiss.)

(Later at the end of the day. Serena is getting her things from her locker. Chuck walks over to her.)

C: Well well well look who's back and still hasn't a dit hello
S: Ah Chuck I wondered how long it would be
C:
C: I think you're like me
S: I am nothing like you
C: Blair thinks toi are, she thinks we should get to know eachother better
S: I know toi well enough
C: Really? Hmm cos I don't know toi that well. We could fix that. My father bought the Palace, I have a suite up there you're plus than welcome any time
S: Ugh Chuck
C: That's my name
S: (sighs) Ugh I'm leaving now
C: So soon?
S: I have a date
C: Oh someone I know?
S: toi don't know him
C: I know everybody who is anybody
S: Dan Humphrey
C: Doesn't ring a bell. A nobody is he?
S: I only met him a few days il y a but I would rather spend all my time with him than with you
C: Ohh you're breaking my cœur, coeur S
S: I'm sure you'll live

(Serena grabs her things and leaves. While Blair is collecting her stuff she sees Chuck she smiles and runs over to him)

B: (giggling and smiling) I l’amour you
C: Please call me hero
B: Thank toi hero
C: I look after people who look after me
B: I guess you're not a total slime ball then
C: Ah I knew toi always loved me Waldorf
B: Don't speak too soon Bass
C: So how are toi going to repay me Blair?
B: toi forget who you're talking to
C: So do you
B: I'm not Blair anymore. I'm you're best friend's girlfriend
C: So you're not going to tell him that toi know about him and Serena?
B: (avoids the question)
C: Blair?
B: Nate will tell me
C: What toi forgive him already, blimey Blair toi only found out three days ago
B: I know he didn't plan on it and that whore will sleep with anything that moves... salut why don't toi two get together having so much in common
C: Oh trust me I'm working on it
B: (giggles) I bet toi are

(Later on in the street. Serena is walking alone and bumps into Nate.)

N: Serena?
S: Hey
N: Hey

(pause)

N: How are you?
S: I'm good. You?
N: Yeah I'm great, How was boarding school?
S: Nothing special toi know
N: I'm glad you're back
S: Thanks, shame everyone doesn't think so
N: toi mean Blair? She'll come around
S: I don't think she will
N: toi two have been best Friends forever there's nothing toi can't work out
S: I'm not so sure

(Late that evening. Nate and Blair are at Blair's apartment in her bedroom getting ready to go out.)

N: Blair why don't toi make up with Serena?
B: It's not that simple
N: Why not?
B: You're not a girl Nate so toi wouldn't understand
N: What's to understand? What did she do?
B: I think toi mean, what did toi both do
N: Both of us?
B: I know Nate
N: toi know?
B: Yes. I loved toi didn't that count for anything?
N: I'm sorry I really am
B: (begins to cry) I can forgive toi for sleeping with Serena but I can't forgive toi for lying to me. I gave toi the chance and toi kept on lying and having to hear it from Chuck of all people
N: Chuck? Chuck told you? I'll kill him
B: No. He was only telling me the truth one good thing toi can say about Chuck Bass, he looks after his friends
N: Some plus than others
B: What does that mean?
N: Well he obviously cares plus about you're loyalty than mine
B: Oh my God I can't believe you're trying to blame Chuck If toi hadn't of cheated on me there would be nothing to forgive
N: Look I'm sorry Blair okay. I'm sorry
B: Listen I still l’amour toi so if toi can forget about her and just want me then I don't see why we can't stay together
N: You're willing to forgive me?
B: Only because I l’amour you
N: I l’amour toi Blair

(Blair hugs Nate and kisses him.)

GG: So Blair willing to forgive Nate for cheating with Serena. Are toi really that desperate B I'm sure some other handsome prince would be plus than willing to fill in the part for you? ou maybe toi only want one. And S was spotted in Brooklyn with Lonely boy, S setting her sight low for once. Until suivant time toi know toi l’amour me xoxo Gossip Girl
