What actually happened to Chuck's mom?

I never actually saw this episode all the way through, but I did see one clip where Chuck a dit his mom died in childbirth, but then I was lire a recap and it a dit she died in a plane crash. so what actually happened?

She died while giving birth to Chuck. Maybe he was premature ou something. *shrugs* They don't go into too many details, as far as we've seen. Chuck only a dit the thing about the plane crash did get Dan off his back, once he found out he was écriture a story about him...to get published.
