Well to be fair, when Kings Of Leon turned them down, they had no clue what glee was! They might've thought they were giving song rights to High School Musical!

come on, Ryan is making this big deal about it. If the Kings of Leon doesn't want it, so what? It's not like this one song of Kings of Leon harms the idea of kids turning on to music.

kings of leon had every right to refuse, just like ryan murphay has a right to be angry, just he should of taken it down a notch, like not be so angry and get rid of the f bomb

An artist has every right to refuse their song being covered for whatever reason. It's their song, their choices.

Not all musical artists want their music on Glee and I think Ryan Murphy needs to respect that. His reaction was very unprofessional. Lighten up, dude. Also, I'm editing my answer to say that even though Ryan Murphy did over react, Nathan Followill's tweet was extremely insensitive and below the belt. Not only to Ryan but to the gay community. King's Of Leon's music suked this year and I feel like Glee could have really helped them and Ryan Murphy was just trying to defend Glee and he actually did have a point.

Alright, so, KoL missed a potentially beneficial experience here, but that was their own choice to do it. I mean, Ryan could have respected them a bit more for turning down the offer. I'm not a Kings of Leon fan at all, but I at least think it's their own decision if they don't want their songs to be sung on Glee. Ryan blew this way out of proportion.

his words might have been a little over the top, but from what i heard kings of leon were a lot ruder about the show than they made out to be in there interviews, and i refuse to be positive that kings of leon was 100% honest about what they said, because you can never trust a bias answer and what they said seems to change every interview, which is a big givaway of lying, also Ryan probably has a lot of anger, considering the fact that the show's fans constantly critisize him and never cut him any slack.

I picked his because yeah he did say something bout them but they said something bout him that was actally worse in my opinion so you know im kinda in the middle but if he goes of like that evreytime someone refuses there music hes gonna get a repitation and im alredy not one his biggest fans.
