Hero saves beauty is pretty much cliche now isn't it? But of course its still great.
Beauty saves hero seems interesting cos its kind of new.
But all that aside, how did Shun save Alice? in any way? I think your question was on which pairing you liked: ShunxAlice or JoexChan-Lee.
So the phrasing of hero saves or beauty saves is... eh, irrelevant.
And actually, Chan-Lee was on the bad side and its cos of her love of Joe that she came onto the good side. So really she is the hero saves beauty.
And I have never seen Shun save Alice but Alice usually comforts Shun when he goes off like when he was about to quit the team, so they would be beauty saves hero.
