can anyone explain to me why people hae dean and why people think jess is great becasuse i l’amour dean. I don;t get it.

For me it's because I got so tired of Dean. Jess was new and mysterious and he was different. Dean had been Rory's boyfriend for two ou three years and he was always jelous and he and Rory hardly had anything in commen and they both wanted different things.

In my opinion jess made rory a much better person. i know most of toi r gonna kill me, but before jess came along and gave rory a reality check, she was stuck-up and thought the whole world waz perfect. Dean practically bowed at her feet which isnt what a boyfriend should do. So yay jess for montrer her.

for me it was the fact that he over reacted about everything. thats why i liked jess, jess rarely got mad and when he did he had reason to. later in the seasons, he was feeling sry for himself because he didnt fit in in the yale crowd, married a girl he barely knew, cheated on her, and ruined rory's rep.

Personally, I didn't hate Dean until he slept with Rory when he was married to Lindsey. CHEATER!! I have nothing for cheaters. They anger me. Personal issues. Just like I don't have much for Logan cause he cheated, well I don't know what he did, that's why I can put up with him. But I've always thought Jess was great cause he was hott, and he and Rory had great chemistry. So I didn't hate Dean until he had to cheat. Sorry.

Its simple. jess is exciting, new, caring, misunderstood and altogether an awesome character. And Dean is a dull boy who can't accept tht Rory doesnt want him.

I think it's stupid she left Dean because he was so nice to her but Dean srarted to act like a baby and that got on my nerves I really didn't like jess ou Logan

i no what toi mean when rory left dean for jess for no reason when he was the perfect boyfriend i got really mad but when dean cheated on his wife i got mad at him. so i loved him before he did that but rory pissed me off a lot!

Well i didnt like either of them.

Dean was always there, and so moany and clingy, and jealous.

whereas Jess i liked them as Friends but nothing more, Jess was a jerk he didnt care who he hurt and he walked away from her 2 times without a goodbye, once after the accident and then when he went to his dads

Not only did I find Jess absolutely hillarious (honestly, he cracked me up in every episode he was in) he was new and mysterious, a bad boy (honestly, who isn't intrigued par a bad boy) he and Rory had so much plus in common. I found Dean dull and boring, he was the perfect boyfriend, but not interesting at all. Then he cheated on his wife (the last straw for me) and slept with Rory!

Rory/Jess forever!
