There was a aléatoire website where toi could talk about Garrett. People mostly fought, & toi could go on lots of times using different nicknames. I gotta kick out of it, it kept me entertained. Tons of people were ganging up on 1 of my nicknames, so I wrote this & thought it was funny. I wanted to share it with everyone:

Once Upon a Time there was this girl. Her name was Kate. Her nickname was "Eat My Shorts." Kate likes to wear sweaters, loves to eat taco Bell, and enjoys listening to Dashboard Confessional.

It may lose its way on occasions, but thanks to a committed cast and a script that captures the Kerouac vibe, Salles’ adaptation never ends up on the road to nowhere.
