One of "Game of Thrones\'" most beautiful scenes came in the fourth episode of Season 5, when the hard-as-nails Stannis Baratheon (Stephen Dillane) explained to his Greyscale-scarred daughter Shireen (Kerry Ingram) just how deeply he loves her. 

This is the first time the Lord of Light\'s king opened up to his daughter, and one of the first time he\'s shown his vulnerable side. Up until now it\'s been his second-in-command, Davos Seaworth (Liam Cunningham), who has shown kindness to young Shireen.

"They sort of look after each other because you have to remember Davos lost his son in Season 2," Cunningham tells Zap2it. "In a way, she\'s like his child and he\'s like her father because Stannis is so cold to her. So they have this gorgeous relationship, and Kerry I love working with. We have some beautiful scenes together this season."

When it\'s noted that the Wall seems like a dangerous place for Shireen to be, Cunningham laughs. "It ain\'t a good place for anybody," he says. "It ain\'t a good place if you\'re Jon Snow, it ain\'t a good place if you\'re -- it\'s a dangerous place. 700 ft. of ice. I can think of much better places to be -- on a throne somewhere, drinking a pina colada."
