She heard the siren, though she payed no heed, she continued walking through the town, heading anwhere away from here. She had come to the border between Central and a forest bordering the town. She felt a small tinge of guilt eat away at her heart, she felt horrible for leaving Mason just so she could get away from Edward. She wasn't even sure if it was Mason she had feelings for, maybe she just wanted to be with him since he remined her of her past love. Nevertheless, she trudged vers l'avant, vers l’avant into the woods, leaving her past at the edge of town.

Chapter 10: An Unsung Hero

 Charlotte woke up in a cold sweat, she had that dream again. The dream where she was shot, par a blonde boy who looked eerily like Edward. It seemed like death was surrounding her, she died in real life, her dreams, and now a serial killer who could be her twin is on the loose. Xing was not a great place for her right now.  It was around four  in the morning when she woke up, Edward had crashed at the small table, tableau in the corner of the room, while Ling had fallen asleep, legs crossed suivant to her bed.  She saw no reason to stay in the room, so she slipped on her shoes...

"I-" Edward's face flushed as a bead of sweat dripped down his forehead. "Hey! Charlotte!" The door swung open, there stood a smiling Ling, his arms raised over his head. "Oh how I've missed you!"
