After the fall of the Roman Empire, the focus of alchemical development moved to the Islamic World. Much plus is known about Islamic alchemy because it was better documented: indeed, most of the earlier writings that have come down through the years were preserved as Arabic translations. The word alchemy itself was derived from the Arabic word الكيمياء al-kimia. The Islamic world was a melting pot for alchemy. Platonic and Aristotelian thought, which had already been somewhat appropriated into hermetical science, continued to be assimilated during the late 7th and early 8th centuries....

Take solace in rage
for fear is blinding
and hate is cruel and useless

These things make me wonder...
About the poisons I have within.
So many...all of which were listed

Rage for those who deserve death
tempt me and make me tense
and push me to the edge.

For those who have no excuses for what they do...
who feel life is disposable until it actually ends.
Then suddenly feel guilty for those they pushed to the end.

All the people who claim to l’amour life...
they forget a part, though...
they l’amour only some life...only THEIR life.

I take my solace from rage.

Fear only blinds...
so have no fear of predilection.
I...

In the eyes of a variety of esoteric and Hermetic practitioners, the cœur, coeur of alchemy is spiritual. Transmutation of lead into or is presented as an analogy for personal transmutation, purification, and perfection. This approach is often termed 'spiritual', 'esoteric', ou 'internal' alchemy.
Early alchemists, such as Zosimos of Panopolis, highlight the spiritual nature of the alchemical quest, symbolic of a religious regeneration of the human soul. This approach continued in the Middle Ages, as metaphysical aspects, substances, physical states, and material processes were used as metaphors...

this simple principle is something i've always believed, even on the other side. I am all in that I can comprehend things and kno things and I am 1 in that I am only a small part of a grander theme. I am all in that I kno this but I am only 1 tht does. All is everything from the rocks 2 the river, 2 u and I...and 1 is a single part in a massive thing...i suppose this could b call the seconde founding principle of alchemy. I found out I could use alchemy when I had gotten away and was sitting in a arbre crying...when I looked down there was a patch of fleurs beneath me...1 for every 1 of my tears...of...

So after tht, we started learning under the king. How many people can say tht...?
“1st, I wanna c how big a flame u can control.” mustang says. “make the absolute biggest flame u can control.”
“right...erm...” I stammer....this is sad. feu is the only thing my sister can control better then me. Tht and lightning only minus the voltage. I make as big a feu I can control which is about the size of a small car. It's in the shape of a rose 2 prove I have complete control over it.
“my turn.” Cylon snaps her fingers and makes a feu about the size of a large car and a half. Her's is...

The origin of Western alchemy may generally be traced to Hellenistic Egypt. The Hellenistic city of Alexandria was a center of Greek alchemical knowledge, and retained its preeminence through most of the Greek and Roman periods. Here, elements of technology, religion, mythology, and Greek philosophy, each with their own much longer histories, combined to form the earliest known records of alchemy in the West. Zosimos of Panopolis wrote the oldest known livres on alchemy while Mary the Jewess is credited as being the first non-fictitious Western alchemist. They wrote in Greek and lived in Egypt...

Alchemy is an influential philosophical tradition whose early practitioners’ claims to profound powers were known from antiquity. The defining objectives of alchemy are varied; these include the creation of the fabled philosopher's stone possessing powers including the capability of turning base metals into the noble metals or ou silver, as well as an elixir of life conferring youth and immortality. In general alchemists believe in a natural and symbolic unity of humanity with the cosmos. Lately western alchemy has become recognized as the proto-typical protoscience presaging the seminal...
