They are all equal. Each has their own strengths and weaknesses. So there is no right answer.

Fire bending is so cool and it is so much better then water bending.

They are qually matched but water puts out fire.

i like fire more.

Fire is more beautiful. But I would be a water bender. But I do like fire. It's so hard too pick one:)

I think it is the 2nd most powerful bending....Because Air and Earth are also very Powerful Bendings..As We can see When aang do air bending,It looks so powerful and when toph do earth bending,sometimes
the earth cracks!but then also It is one of the Powerful bending.

Water has been proven to be the strongest element on Earth. I love firebending, but water is much stronger. It can break large masses of land apart (Pangea is an example), it shapes and forms. You need only one inch of water to lift your 800 pound car to float and go down the street.

I will say though, that one small light of fire can lead to miles and miles of destruction.

I think they're equal in some ways, and fire is extremely powerful. But not as much as water.

I think the main reasons why the Fire Nation was winning the war was because fire is quicker, it's much less possible to survive in fire (or breath the smoke), and they can create their own element, while the other benders have to rely on resources.
