Damion found his way into a small hatch outside Hannah's office, locking it tightly and entering a musty crawlspace, where he got on all fours and did a belly slide to the other end. There, he saw a rusted grate, which he kicked open and plopped out into the snow. It wasn't long before he had started putting on a plush winter manteau made of black leather. Sirens were blaring throughout the city, muffling the normally loud traffic of the streets of Augusta. Damion had to get away from the office complex NOW. 

"Ah, Hannah's got this, if I can get far away enough from detection, the authorities won't ask her of my whereabouts," Damion belly-slid across the desolate rue with little regard for the snow. 

An armored car with no windows soon pulled up behind him, suited penguins rushing out and headed to Hannah's office. Damion then got onto his feet, quickly applying brown eyed contacts and taking out a lunch box, walking casually. 

"Stop right there!" one of the suited penguins shouted, approaching Damion with suspicion. 

Damion stopped dead in his tracks and held his flippers high up. 

"I'd like to see your identification please," the officer a dit plus leniently. 

Damion smirked. 

"Alrighty, card's in my lunch box sir," Damion stood still, releasing the lunch box as the officer seized it. 

Prying the lid open and shuffling through, the officer found a single card licensed for a "Demetrius Nikolai Hapsburg" aged twenty two, five pounds, brown eyes.  

"Hapsburg? toi aren't from any imperial districts aren't you?" the officer responded. 

"Oh, I'm a resident of the client state of Servelin," Damion responded. 

The officer nodded and smiled softly. 

"Alright sir, you're clear to go, sorry for keeping toi in, toi know how it has to be after all, better sûr, sans danger than sorry," the officer stated apologetically. 

"No worries sir, I know you're just doing your job, and I thank toi for it, best of luck whatever's going on over that building," Damion replied with genuine thanks. 

The officer gave a salute, then departed for Hannah's office, gesturing the others to find a way in through the back. 

"Imbecile..." Damion muttered to himself, rolling his eyes, walking off the premises.

It didn't take long for Damion to traverser, croix a couple streets to the nearest hotel, he knew where he could stay in residency without attracting the authorities. 

Damion's estate would be worth a visit, but out of the question for permanent residence, as that location would get the most thoroughly investigated par the police force. Hannah's accueil would follow the same results of his own, only this time, it would be suspicion that Hannah would hide her own lover at her home. For now, a simple hotel would do the job for the question of residency. Damion gave the hotel a good look. 

"Hmm, moderately sized hotel, smiling staff, talkative patrons, immaculate cleanliness, lack of vermin, I'd guess this complex is rated at around four stars," Damion mused to himself as he approached the humble structure. 

"Hello sir, we currently have seven rooms available, but since I am not sure of the layout of our building, the front bureau should be able to permit toi a reservation," a bellhop called to Damion. 

Damion smirked softly. 

"I'll be over," 

Damion walked past some of the bustling traffic in the front of the hotel, ranging from suited businessmen looking to rest before a meeting, to bombastic families full of loud children, there to see the sights and sounds. With a soft metal tap, Damion pulled down the brass door handle, quietly entering the front lobby for his latest reservation. 

The lobby was as prestigious as the exterior; little luxury items strewn about, only a polished wood venire floor, and some Persian rugs rolled out across walkways, a large bureau with two workers seated behind it wrapped into an arch at the back. Damion walked up to the female worker. 

"Excuse me my good lady, is there any open rooms available as of the moment?" Damion asked. 

"Yeah we got some up the fifth floor open, they're kinda pricy, that fine sir?" she asked. 

Damion threw his head back and slammed his flipper on the bureau with laughter. 

"Pricy?! I BREATHE wealth ma'am, there's little this hotel can overcharge me on, so, let's have at it!"
