Today's fanpop has plus people mean and sarcastic then others. I'm not against it, but I don't have to be.

For those "yelled" at constantly, that means you're doing something WRONG! And it only leads to disaster. What might toi do wrong?
• Spamming
• Spelling names wrong
• Using incorrect grammar
• Posting miscategorized pictures, picks, questions(answers), etc. to a spot
• Hating on the person's spot
• Impersonating a celebrity
• Making a hate spot

If toi do any of those things, toi WILL be yelled at ou sarcastically talked to. And don't be a baby and cry about it. FIX IT!

Don't go on the Twilight Series spot and say: I HATE THIS STUFF! People will scream at you. Maybe even rapporter toi if it's too serious.

Fans, do not kill yourself because I told toi this is OKAY to do.

Renesmee_XD Forgot to add but, if your native language is not English and you speak another language, hate might hit you! Seriously? I have been speaking Hindi all my life does that mean even though I am better at English I will be hated for speaking Hindi? :/

zanesaaomgfan ^ I've seen it before, someone was typing Hebrew(something like that) and she got so many hate comments... :/ I saw it like last year though. And by speak, I mean TYPE.

youknowit101 I don't think it's right to tell people to kill themselves, even if you're angry or just joking. Some bouts of anger or jokes shouldn't be acceptable. The only time someone deserves the sarcasm is when you *spam *impersonate someone *post miscategorized comments *or spread hate (hate spots or unprovoked hateful comments) Why can't you let it slide if someone spells something wrong or messes up their grammar? Is it really a big deal? It's a little annoying, but you'll live. If someone gets sarcastic with me, I'll get sarcastic right back, unless I think it's funny. If someone gets snide with me, i'll get snide right back. Especially if it's because I misspelled something. You should add to that list *If you "yell" at someone for doing these things, expect to get "yelled" at right back.

william_laughs I think yelling is not a good reaction. If someone is being "yelled at constantly" it might be that a troll mob has formed. So why blame the person being yelled at? It's better for ALL of us to be more civil. We may fall short of perfect behavior, but we can have great interactions if we come to FanPop with that intention. Not everyone on FanPop is the same age or they may be going through a difficult time. So I think it's good to relax and not take anything on Fanpop personally...but keep in mind others might not be able to help it. And if we meet people who aren't acting civil, we can always just ignore them or report them.

fanfly What william_laughs said. Just because someone made a mistake is absolutely no reason to YELL at them. You can help them by politely pointing out that they made a mistake and giving them advice on how to correct it. As for spelling/grammar; I admit that I hate text speak but I certainly don't go around yelling at people who use it or talking down to them. What would that get me? Nothing but a reputation as a bitch. And I always give people who demonstrate poor spelling and/or grammar the benefit of the doubt. English is not everyone's native language and to get your panties in a twist over something like that just makes you look like an ass hole. The only thing I agree deserves a bit of yelling at is the ones who go on a spot they aren't a fan of and deliberately insult the topic. That's trolling. But since they're obviously just trying to stir up trouble and get a reaction, the best way to foil them is just to ignore them. If they continue, report them. Oh and people who impersonate celebrities should just be reported.

karlyluvsam dont be mean to new fanpopers that wont to know about medals - ok yeah almost evey week someone post a questin - that says " how to get medals " " why dont they have have one yet " " or asking what it is " but come do you really have to bite there head off --- some people havent been here from the start of fan pop - an have like 49 medals

william_laughs We all come to Fanpop for a good time and to meet people like us. But I know where she's coming from. It's frustrating sometimes to meet people who are just looking for a fight or drama. But the thing I keep in mind is, I can minimize drama by just not participating in it. And I can be aware that my own words help shape experiences here on Fanpop. I'd rather make it a good experience.

The_Zebra_Freak i REALLY hate when people pick on me for my grammar. Its ridiculous. I mean,its just grammar. Oh well i mispell stuff SO WHAT?

I heart pick additions! Truly!

Just out of curiousity, how do people feel when they've created a pick, find pictures, spell- and grammar-proof the question, finally send it out to the world -- and two weeks later discover new choices that r ovrwhielminley mispeled, say "all of the above" ou "none of the above", ou are green numbers among all of the pretty pictures?

Well, toi can read between the lines for my opinion. But I don't know whether this is a personal irritant ou whether many plus besides me feel this way.

Of course, there is a time and place for everything. Crazy_chica added a "None of the above" option to my link...

Why is it on images that there are so many plus vues than there are people who rated it? It makes me really sad, because I like to see what people think of the content I add. Now, I realize that there are people who view images a plus than once, but what I don't understand is when some of my images have 87 vues and only 2 people (one of which is me) who rated it. In the past I used to be guilty of this, however after adding a lot of content I realized that how good it made me feel when people took the 2 secondes it takes to rate my content. I mean toi are already there, and toi veiwed it,...
