Isabel braced herself before she opened the door to the police station. She hadn’t been here since the slaughtering a few weeks ago. Her superior had sent her on a vacation.
“Isabel, what are toi doing here?” a man asked, as he looked up from his desk.
“Hi, Victor” Isabel greeted the man and she smiled weak. “I’m just…picking up a few things I forgot. Personal stuff” she explained as she walked to her office.
“Why didn’t toi give us a call. We would’ve sent someone” Victor commented.
“I wanted to save toi the trouble” Isabel shrugged and she entered her office. She walked to her desk, which was usually very tidy, but now magnified pictures lay across the oak-wood bureau. Isabel quickly collected them and put them in her bag. Underneath the pictures there was a brown folder. She opened it and read Cas’ name on top. “Gotcha” she a dit soft and she put the folder in her bag too. She walked to the door and left. She quickly walked through the aisle, smiling and nodding at a few aléatoire people.
“Was that Roberts?” another woman asked sharp. “What was she doing here?”
“She had to pick up a few personal things” Victor explained. “What’s wrong?” he asked as the woman turned around and hurried to the office Isabel had just left.

Elena took a deep breath and started running down the hill. However, the herbe on the colline started growing really fast and pushed Elena back. Elena angry pushed the herbe away and came halfway the hill.
Then the earth started shaking and Elena rolled down.
The road that led to the open field cracked open and Elena’s feet got stuck in one of the cracks.
“Ha, damn it!” she cursed and she pulled her leg, but she couldn’t déplacer it. The crack grew bigger and soon she fell in a whole. A deep one.
She looked up and saw how the crack slowly closed again.
“Elena”
Elena grabbed the mur which was raw and cut her hands open, but she didn’t care. With a fierce determination she climbed up and out of the crack. She crawled away from the crack, dodged the other cracks and reached the open field.
