I think it's Arya, in no 1, the witch Angela said that Eragon would date someone important, with a bad ending...

gladear and oromis (not so sure about spelling) die but gladear sorta dies.........cuz he gave his heart od hearts to eragon and saphira so he is kinda dead but murtagh (or galbatorix still not sure which one i have't read it in a while) kills gladear while he was weak
